Why would they need to equip super parts when performing slow, delicate maintenance work? VFs are perfectly space-worthy without them.

I remember a lot of talk about breaking wind or something. I think the valkyries themselves appeared briefly a couple of times throughout the series.

Depends on what the Amazon price was. At NY I paid 22900 shipped via EMS (I'm not shipping an expensive item with a cheapass shipping method), but it hasn't actually shipped. So I guess NY if you don't mind waiting an indefinite amount of time for their shipping guys to stop eating twinkies jagariko and actually ship your stuff out. I'd rather have just paid few extra yen and gotten it from Amazon.

Yes sir, I do! Contents of Kotobukiya green LED sword: 1x runner colored blades (4 total), 1x runner non-colored blades (4 total), 1x runner misc parts (including the super important cylinder switch that holds everything together), and 1x LED hilt. (Below, one blade was taken for Arad's green saber, the other was painted yellow for Chuck.) With the yellow blade, I then swapped out the green LED hilt for a yellow one from Milight, painted the switch silver so there wouldn't be light leak, and done! Super easy. Messer's "black" saber. Very nice! Looking forward to Arad's armor in the near future, but we really need the remaining super sets so they're all dressed the same!

Not too much, fortunately. It's actually super easy! Barely an inconvenience. The Kotobukiya LED swords come with clear uncolored blades in addition to whichever color you bought. So I just used the spare set to paint yellow ones for Chuck and purple for Messer. The LED handles used by Kotobukiya are the Milight LEDs. Size 327 is the size used by Kotobukiya, https://hlj.com/search/go?w=milight I just swapped them out: yellow for Chuck, white for Messer, as they don't sell a purple LED. See above. It'll probably way easier to use a white LED handle and paint the blade to whatever color you like. Those LEDs are tiny and secured pretty well. I've never tried to open any of them up. They'll must likely just break if you try to open it to remove the LED. Way more yellow tint to the orange than the straight up orange of the VF-1D or YF-25.

Yeah, those are the Kotobukiya LED swords. I had to modify them for Messer and Chuck. Think I prefer this lineup more. There are tabs for it to be fully closed. It doesn't line up particularly well in either opened or closed state though. Edit: nevermind, I was thinking of the main tabs (don't have it's in front of me at the moment).

Ohhh that's an idea. I'll have to try that. Nope, I don't think it's possible to get everything perfectly lined up and flat so it's indistinguishable from a non-folding radome. And parts will move out of place at the slightest touch.

Quick snaps out of the box. So the gap on the back of front fuselage was nice and closed up... until I popped the crotch plate on the underside back into place, which caused the front to push forward slightly and widen the gap. Great tolerances from Bandai, as always. Fighter With radome deployed. I don't remember Reina being that stacked.

Same. What the hell do they mean they haven't received their stock? How the hell can they be "preparing to ship" if there's nothing to ship? Those jackasses. I call BS on that anyway since everyone else has gotten their stock. Usually a day or two for me, unless I made the mistake of requesting shipping right before a holiday.

We're also getting DX VF-1s, because we totally didn't get enough of those with the HMR line and Arcadia reissues. Hurray? There's no new Macross series for Bandai to plunder, so we'll have to wait and see what Bandai will do next for the DX line (besides more VF-1s).

Wait a sec! Are those the SDF-1 bridge bunnies in the background? I thought they died when the SDF-1 and phantom SDF-2 were destroyed in Robotech, when "Dana" was still a toddler? (Yes I know they survived in SDF Macross.)

DHL shipping notice from Amiami. Says Tuesday delivery so it'll probably be here Monday. Finally will have completed Delta squadron, the worst squadron in Macross history! (Seriously, Ragna is paying for their services? Can they get their money back?)
