    Having the weight off-center is a common problem with Yamato/Arcadia's adapters. It's why there's a Yeti VF-17 adapter; the default adapter is way off center and all the weight was in the back. So I asked Yeti about it and he made an all new, better centered adapter.

    All the Yeti adapters made for Yamato should work with the Arcadia stand as Yeti uses the same size tab as Yamato/Arcadia. Standardization is great, isn't it?

    Got my retail price Mark 85 finally. No way I was paying over 100 bucks for such a basic action figure (no nano gauntlet or unhelmeted Tony Stark head?).

    I really need to replace the bulbs in my E with LEDs like I did in my Bandai refit Enterprise. Those incandescent bulbs get to me after awhile. One of these days I'll get around to it... So while it doesn't say anywhere which version Bandai's E is based on, I guessed it was Insurrection because of the extra torpedo launchers but the nacelles are in the slightly lower position like the First Contact model.

    If you watched all three movies and didn't notice any substantial changes to the ship, then you're not going to care which version this hypothetical E replica is based on.

    Even if we accept the comics (or novels), it only raises further questions. Like why would you build a brand new spaceship half underwater right next to the rotting carcass of another ship? I guess Captain Global really didn't want to carry his luggage very far.

    As long as CC or whoever brings us a super-detailed, illuminated replica of the E, I don't care which version since they're all similar enough. I'll be satisfied with any of them. First Contact is the only one that used the physical model and has the distinction of being the only Next Gen movie that didn't suck.

    Are you referring to the slight modifications made between movies, when they switched from physical to CG model, and then changed effects houses? If you're referring to games or books or other non-canon sources, then nuts to that. I'd want one based on the physical studio model. I have the Bandai version but I think that's based on the Insurrection version.

    That D looks goddamn amazing! $2000 is too rich for my blood, sadly. I wonder if the saucer rim windows (like ten-forward) actually light up? Most models I've seen don't due to size. Now a refit original Enterprise and I might actually shell out two grand for.

    Thanks, I'll give that a try if they come apart again. Guess I'll work on the Super Ostrich next since I already took her apart.

    Well now I really hope a PF VT-1 is next because the shoulders on my old Yamato VT-1 finally gave out on me. Super glued them together and they're holding okay, but they definitely are in a super fragile state now. I even sanded down the stupid knurled pins as best I could.

    Really love the B&W shots. Feels like you lifted the frames straight out of a manga.

    Looks great! Kakizaki as a 1J commander... what could have been. If only he had stayed and finished that steak instead of going on that mission.

    Your Alaska base custom looks amazing! I was going to mention using Tamiya tape over the 3M stuff to prevent paint bleeds for future projects, but it looks like a bunch of others beat me to it.

    Wow I had no idea the factory delivered VF-1s shrink-wrapped to Prometheus.

    Space is at a bit of a premium with so many valks and 1/48s are big boys. Really only keeping a second for a future GBP release.

    Haven't bought much from Eaglemoss lately but always wanted a Vor'cha attack cruiser. Valdore was rather disappointing.

    Highly doubt a brownie 1A is in the cards anytime soon from Arcadia. Maybe in a few more years. A PF VT-1 is more likely, I reckon.

    Tell me about it. Gotta pay for 3x VF-31E and MC Gundam this month. Probably a couple more things I forgot about until I get a billing notice from my CC.
