I haven't transformed any of my 25s in quite some time, and wow we've come a long way! Delta may have been a terrible, terrible, show, and while I like the overall look of the 25s more, the 31s have better engineering, making them easier to transform. Transforming my 25S felt like a lot more hassle, what with the floppy joints and all. Still, I love the VF-25s! I want a Version 3.0!

Very nice! Tried reshooting the VT-1 pics without the overhead hangar lights so it wouldn't look as shiny. Which looks better, these or the earlier pics? (Spoiler heading so people don't have to scroll through so many images if they don't want to.)

Thanks @Slave IV! Lol no I meant I'm keeping it in its fully loaded fighter configuration and probably not transforming it again. Not that we ever saw battroid in the movie it has such a unique set of boosters. Yeah, it broke where the pin is knurled. Don't know why Yamato thought it was a good idea to use a knurled pin. Even before the shoulder broke, that part was already stressed and cracked without ever having been transformed (I bought this one new and unused from another board member a few years back). After gluing the shoulders back together using a plastics bonder, I sanded down the knurled section as best I could with a metal file. Yeah, don't remove that bump if you want the arms to stay up in battroid mode! My VT-1 is going to stay in fighter mode forever and the repaired shoulders are holding up fine. Haha it's a pretty fighter on its own, but I do like the unique set of boosters that VT-1 has. Got everything together and took a bunch of pics. That shade of orange is really overpowering in a lot of the pics I took. Turning on the overhead hangar lights helps to moderate it a little so the orange isn't so eye-bleeding. Though it does drown out some of the panel shading too.

I like it the new head unit but that paint scheme... I think it would look better if the brown parts were grey like the feet.

Oh I'm going to need two of those. Have two on order but one's for a friend.

Fixed the other shoulder and put her back together. I swear the VT-1 has been the most problematic VF-1 I've tackled to date. Some plain fighter pics before I attach the boosters (permanently).

Not a bad idea. Might do that after I detail all my valks and have no need for spares. Some gerwalk snaps from before I broke the shoulder.

Thanks! I have a couple of 1/60s that are basically junk and only good for spare parts, which means spare gunpods available.

I'll get one as a novelty but I'm not really digging that paint scheme. It's something new, at least.
