Do the "winglets" on the sides of the armor parts serve any purpose, such as carrying reaction warheads like the VF-25 armor? Or are they just for decoration? Guess I could open mine to find out... maybe after I finish my current project.

Haven't bought much lately, but what I have bought has cost a good chunk of $$$ (thanks SV-51 and PF VF-0D!). Now I can finally build that PG Exia... if I can ever find the time. Of course the long awaited armor parts.

What issues are you referring to? HLJ was down for scheduled maintenance the day the SV-51 was released, but you were able to request shipping as soon as the site came back up.

Let us know if you only get asked for 10%. I might go for a second if that's the case. Already spent $800 in the last couple of years already, between this and the SV-51.

In short: YMMV. If your only metric is "Will I actually get what I ordered?" then any of the above places are fine. Even price-wise there's ultimately not much difference, compared to getting gouged after preorders close by NY or eBay etc.

$58 for HLJ but mine included Char's Zaku. She's a big bird. Box pic from HS.

I've managed a few, but you need Max level skills and speed to secure a DX preorder. Keep in mind they're a much smaller operation than Amiami or HLJ so they won't have nearly as many units.

My armor parts finally arrived earlier today. This was an excessively long time, mainly caused by AE taking over a week after release to finally show the damn thing as "in stock." Even their EMS shipping was slow. I don't care if they're backlogged or tired or drunk or whatever after the Obon holidays, taking that long is unacceptable. Having a bunch of orders piled up after the holidays and having to deal with it is their problem, not mine. As such, I will probably go the From Japan route for all web exclusives like this one. In short: F U AE. #firstworldproblems

HLJ's site is conveniently down for maintenance atm, but I'm going to assume they got their SV-51 shipment in as well. I'll probably ship it out right away even though I'm only a month in on my PW. I really want it!

There's two War Machine armors for Bandai to release. The War Machine armor from earlier in the movie is different from the one in Infinity War. And of course the aforementioned Iron Patriot armor.

You found it! Unfortunately the images are broken, so it's not much help for people who want to apply the fix.

The only issue with the V2 tornado packs is that the wing boosters are pretty heavy and will sag in fighter mode. This can be fixed by gluing a piece of plastic on the inside of the boosters. @Saburo posted this fix way back when, with pictures showing exactly where to glue. (I've applied the fix on my tornado packs and it works like a charm!) I am unable to search for that particular post at this time.
