I totally agree with you there esp upon seeing those new anime style rendition of SDF series in the Macross Pachinko game. In that style, I'm IN! -
I don't think it will stand properly in Gerwalk mode just basing it the way the legs and feet are layout. It's fixed-pose so you will end up tipping the nosecone too just to make it stand ala-tripod.

Man, there's a lot of myths and legends going on at eBay. I still buy and bid but up to the point where I set what's my max by doing research and all before splurging a big amount if money. And also, I once got outbid by the seller itself. Sad but true.

I checked and it wasn't even an in-depth review. Pedro only posted photos when I asked about it of the stand itself from Facebook and said that based on what the poster said it was being well made. What I'm curious is to see an in-depth review of the stand with some photos that shows Valkyrie mounted on it.

You don't need to transform it to Fighter mode just to check the wing. Wing is just folded in the back. I think the VF-31's wing is not straight by design. The half of the wing is kind of pointing downward like the YF-21. But don't quote me on that. I have to check the Master File book first.

Probably the best answer for this is that they couldn't find a good red plastic to match for the red paint used on the stripes. Atleast materials-wise, they're consistent from the time Yamato is doing it up to Arcadia's re-releasing it.

Congrats F360. Can't wait to see your photos. I PO'ed mine a long time ago via eBay and the seller, who constantly updating me which is good in my books, told me they're going to ship it this week. They just got their stocks so they're sorting out all the preorders they received. So hopefully it's going to arrive here next week. I hope.
