  1. thanks for the info. How about the VF-1 weathered? is it any good?
  2. I've been thinking about getting a 1/60 VF-1 or Destroid weathering version and couldn't find any reviews. Anyone care to give a review? Thanks
  3. I'd get one. assuming that its a regular release thats not in the same price range as vf-17.
  4. they should do a comeback with the zero line. I've always liked the size of the VF-0 in the 1/60 scale, goes better with the other VF from the other series.
  5. I would get it if it were easily available. never had the urge to get the original color.
  6. I'm planning of getting the VF-19 Fire valk, are there any QC issues with this since it is the first of the line?
  7. I vote for a redo. I like the idea of re-watching DYRL but when I put it on, it just feels dated.
  8. I'm deciding between a vf-19 or a vf-1a and a vf-22. almost same price for either option. I already have a vf-1a and vf-22 in a different paint scheme. vf-19 is pricey though. any recommendations?
  9. Is the hikaru vf-1a in the sale safe?
  10. is this the whole bunch of re-issues for the 30th anniversary?
  11. awesome work, its so lively. I never did like the beige color.
  12. I would think that Yamato being a business would gamble and reissue the zero line with fixes(in a new package like the limited run vf-0a) since they messed up their reputation with the defective vf-0 line. The vf-1 with optional parts seem to be a hit and easy indicator that it has thenew shoulders.
  13. for us who held back on the version 2 VF1. the optional parts are a nice no brainer buy since you know its of the fixed shoulder.
  14. why is the poll so bandai-centric
  15. I stayed away from the v2 as well until I saw this guide http://anymoon.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/Yamato-V2-Table-1A.jpg took the plunge and bought a v2 together with the armor. happy with it.
  16. I like the VF-17 better. the white color makes the battroid look like he has an hourglass figure.

    Taking the Plunge

I still have 1/48 and v1 of the VF-1. what I did was purchase the other macross series VF from zero, plus, 7 and frontier, Since I like the variety of different VF.
  18. Thanks for hitting all the points and elaborating.
  19. Has anyone bought the 1/3000 SDF-1 Macross Transformable Unpainted Assembly Kit? Does it come molded in different colors? And, what cement do you use to bond it since it comes in different plastics? Thanks
  20. the 1/48 is the one I fiddle with most. It feels like the most durable among the 1/60 yamato & bandai I have.
  21. I would buy a simple grey version (with painted pilot and landing gear wells) that's priced between the kit and the finished model.
  22. My VF-22S. love the F-22 look and the cockpit canopy design.
  23. I usually transform once just to see if the parts are defect free and complete. Then, it stays in fighter mode. The only ones I have transformed repeatedly are my 1/48 VF-1.
