  1. Thanks for all the info Dark_Ghost
  2. LOL!! They should go with what people are willing to pay top dollars right now. VF-1J M&M, VF-1S Max, VF-1D, Super Ostrich and Elintseeker, all with option parts. I don't think people will doubt in buying any of those.
  3. I'd be really happy if after the VF-1J LSD valk, they reissue all the complete VF-1 line, inclusing obscure valks, VF-4G M&M or even VF-4G assembly kit for sick customs.
  4. You guys should check antibiotictab videos on Macross items on Shizuoka show. There's a good shot of the Tenjin design. Might me Arcadia excitement hitting me, but the design is sorta growing on me. I might order me the Hasegawa model.
  5. Awesome vids antibiotictab, thanks a lot for sharing. the 1/48 Vermillion squadron and VF-1S looked gorgeus, the VF-11E looks sicks I think the VF-1J tenjin is starting to grow on me, I might get me the 1/72 kit to prime myself for the Arcadia 1/60 My God, that Bandai VF-1 looks like a botched abortion.
  6. Good news indeed. Not the best looking design, I will get it, to support Arcadia and also because I guess will become a collectors. I understand the upped price, a lot of tampo, and if you notice despite the micro images, it's not just tampo, a lot of parts are molded in different colors, the backplate, the dorsal forearm, shoulders, head lasers are black and ventral forearms are red/pinkish. So different molds in different colors and rainbow tampo add to production costs. Japan Macross market doesn't care about US market, so the price is not jacked up to take advantage of the US dollar weakness right now. It's just production/marketing/license cost. Remember also, this new Arcadia VF-1 is meant to come with "additional gimmicks" justifying the up in price. Besides, I'd rather pay Arcadia high prices than to Bandai and HK scalpers. For future releases, if Arcadia wants to cut down on tampo printing costs, they could shell out every valk with minimal tampo and waterslide decals and a small instruction on how to use decal setter or white vinegar for placement. I don't think anyone would complain about that.
  7. Actually, the 1/60 VF-11B is becoming rare now, Angolz and HKC had it for around 170 I think, but they are out of stock now. Only place I see now that has it is hobbylocus on ebay and he immediately racked up the price to 200+ once Angolz ran out. Did you get it second hand?? why not FAST packs? the VF-11B came with FAST packs as far as I know, have not heard of a non FAST pack edition.
  8. No, he is more of a satanic seller Do NOT buy from him, have a look at the blacklist on the sale and trade section. He gets mention at least every 3 pages. esthertool is a HK seller on ebay, that goes also by the name cherrytab and another one I don't remember. You can tell easily by his "1000% genuine" item description. He usually puts a valk for a reasonable price as buy it now/best offer with free shipping, if you make an offer, he will then give you a counteroffer that's higher, adjust the buy it now price to a higher one and claim some bull about free shipping. If you do a buy it now at one of his fishing prices, he will claim damage wet box and refund. Far as I know, only one person got something from him. But everyone else who's tried to deal with him has the same story.
  9. I was wondering. Before Yamato went bust, apart from their 30th anniversary VF-1 stuff and Macross 7 releases, where they still releasing their old stuff?, YF-19/21, VF-22S, VF-11B/C, SDF-1, 1/48's, etc.? Just curious because apart from the Zero line almost every valk was available, was this old stock that never moved or Yamato kept restocking?
  10. mmm...Kakizaki looks good with that strike packs
  11. WOW, how come I never saw this before Awesome work MacrossJunkie, you got the weathering bug!! 17D looks stunning!! Mizicke5279, great macro shots!! digging the 1A with the gunpod!
  12. curious also how you know this? esthertool is a HK seller and darylcav is a US seller...hmmm
  13. I got an email from him, saying what has been said already. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
  14. OMFG!! that's an understatement. THANK YOU ALL!! That final click was literally impossible, I had to unscrew on the right leg to get the final click in place, geez, that was a total nightmare!
  15. Yes, I got an extra Dick, or Morris figure on my 17D LOL I took the pilot figure from the plastic tray and when I was ready to open the canopy, there was already a figure inside Finally getting Yamatoed means a good thing!!
  16. Nah, it's a fair price since it was free shipping. Good purchase, enjoy! So...did anyone else get an extra pilot figure on their 17D??? I did
  17. Same here. Hope to be in the first 200. Check their website briefly, they seem professional, but has anybody heard or had any experience from Masei Helmets before?
  18. Hi Jenius, already seen your video and a bunch other from your site, kept me from sleeping, really good reviews I checked for the extra click for the gerwalk joint but didn't work. Will give it a try again later. thanks!
  19. Sorry about the necro' bump. Could someone please tell me how the hell do you get the belly plate flush when transforming to fighter mode??? For some reason I just cannot place the legs properly and the knees keep slightly overlapping each other preventing the belly plate to be placed properly. Also, it appears the back fuselage is a bit warped outward preventing the distal belly plate tabs to lock in place. Mine is the first release that came with FP and stand. Is this an issue on the VF-22S? I'm afraid of transforming them. I've search everywhere for transformation guides, videos and they never mention how to deal with this issue, I can even see in the guide pictures, fighter mode not entirely flush like when it came out of the box. I remember there was a discussion about this a long time ago but I can't find that thread about it or the main YF-21 thread.
  20. Always loved the VF-1 Riders stuff, did they kitbash the battroid VF-19 from the hasegawa fighter kit?? wow!
  21. I got the parts, testing them out, just needs a little sanding to allow enough clearance for the bicep sleeve. You have allowed my YF-19 back to the living., so happy, despite its many flaws is one of my favorites Yamato's.
  22. Yes, does damn shoulder knurled pins are the ones that drove me out of here making me miss a lot of things!!
