    It appear on episode 25 where Max and Millia get married and they ride a two seater VF-1 with Max's blue scheme. Curiously if you look closely, it's animated with a VF-1A head. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7xD9rhzAms watch the whole clip, it has a screenshot of the VF-1A head.

    VF-1J M&M reissue would sure screw some scalpers like they did back in the 1/48 days, they were selling those at almost 500 each and then, boom, Yamato reissue out of nowhere and the price fell to the floor for them... history repeating itself again with the v2 1/60,hope it finishes de same way.

    Most of my panic purchases were at discount prices, I only overpaid for 2 VF-1J/GBP-1S armor sets but those were already marked up since before the frenzy began, but absolutely no regret at all with those beauties. After the first release of the V2 and tired of being Yamatoed I just decided to not buy any more yammies and not return until I found a good reason to start again, that was almost 4 years ago, fast forward to late 2012 when I found out about the VF-4, preorder 2 and after getting them I got hooked up again on Yammies, started catching up with some valks at great prices and then the frenzy began. I do regret not getting back in the game much earlier when Yamato was at its heyday, would probably have my collection complete at fantastic prices. What VF-1's v2 haven't been reissue with the 30th anniversary and option parts?

    I thought the same thing, very very very smart investment when he bought all those valks, I wonder if he's a member here. 1000 dollar unbuilt Regult kit, it was overpriced on release, now it's just ludicrous. If I had one of those regult kits I would try recasting and selling, now that Yamato is defunct don't think it would be an issue.

    indeed they are hard and expensive to get now, here here for Arcadia reissues!! And in the other bottom shelf v1 VF-1's by their anorexic missile launchers?? LOL Very complete collection, props.

    Great collection!! just the way I want mine. Why no DYRL 1S weathered hikki, 1A Hikaru, 1S Max and GBP-1S? that's all you have left to be complete. Oh, and the 1J CF. Are those in the lower shelves 1/48 by what appears to be 1J stealth bottom left. Love the customs grey striped 1/48 valks!

    I do not understand either why the 11C suddenly became a sought after valk since its a cannon fodder, right before Yamato filed bankruptcy I had a chance to get an 11C but thought I could let it slide because I didn't think people would buy it, boy was I wrong. My gf (soon to be fiancé), has no problem with my collection, she likes it, she even says when I'm finally done she will get me a kickass display setting for all my valks, but she's seen how many I've bought recently and was like "do you really need to spend 200+ more on that ugly orange?, you're not done building the assembly kit yet, why do you need another, why why why?". In the end she just laughs and says, "it's your money, don't complain about why I buy more shoes and bags". But I just don't feel paying over 200 for all this "rare" valks with old crotch and no option parts that were going for about 90 on sale is justifiably, I understand perhaps de VF-1J M&M, the Virgin Road, VF-1S Max, VF-4G, this are valks that have always been rare and everyone wants, but the other valks....nope. I did shell out a lot for two GBP-1S armor, but I really needed those. I really wish Arcadia would give some news soon.

    I've always wondered why the VT-1 Super Ostrich has always been such a demanded valk, I understand with the v1 era because they were so freaking rare, but when the v2 came out it widely released and everyone and their mothers got one (except me ), but I honestly, along the elintseeker, do not like those valks. I was eying the VF-1D that went for 220 something, this things are just becoming too expensive and my gf was with me watching the auction yelling why are this toys so expensive, LOL. Man, it must feel real good to have bought this things when they were on sale and see them go for 5 times their price now. I will finish my collection soon with a VF-17D a few VF-1A's but I have accepted I will never get a VF-1D, VF-1J cannon fodder and VF-11C and a bunch of super strike parts. Scalpers price are just getting ridiculous and the fact that people are buying them is the worst. I hope Arcadia is seeing all this Macross mayhem and decides to continue Yamato's Macross license.

    I know you can take better pictures than those. Use better external lighting rather than the camera's flash. What exactly was your light painting mod?, can't really tell.

    VF-1J w/GBP-1S armor Grey goggles for 394.86, a recent purchase. Before that it was 383.55 for one VF-4G on release. non-Macross....many watches.

    I like the 19S and 19F both alike, I guess a lot of people favor the 19F because is more in line with the YF-19 design. It's hard to understand, how the 17S and 17D that are the same toy, same flawed engineering, base color, just a different head design and color stripes justifies a price more expensive than the more popular 19F. And of course, 60 dollars for 4 pieces of plastic (super packs) has always been a total rip off from my point of view. But hell, that's Macross, tell it to all the VF-1's that are the same but different colors. My next purchase will probably be the 17D despite its price.

    This. I'd say also the small identity crisis it develops where you don't know if you should go full swing and go all the way with painting/panel lining/oil wash/weathering like a model or keep it simple like a toy.

    I really want a 17D, but its way overpriced, damn scalpers, considering you can get the 17S for almost half the price.

    Indeed, I have an S and F and thinking of getting another F to complete the squadron. But the price the 19S is going for I might get another one to try customizing it. Anyone ever think of getting a 19P and customizing it to to it's "modded" state of Dynamite finale, it's the easiest custom ever, just spray paint red all over it.

    can really add more to MechTech great advice except that clear coating before decaling also aids to glide the decal easier to its position before applying microsol to it.

    wow! 200, it's a good price since they are going now for 250 without shipping. I guess people didn't think 200 for a used valk was worth it. I never noticed that auction, I would've try to outbid you if I knew, hehehehe The super strike part is the seller for that, good buy, you can never have enough VF-1S DYRL I finally got my VF-1J gray goggle with GBP-1S armor combo! So happy!!, I never thought I would get this one brand new, but it was my most expensive single valk purchase to date at 394 shipped. I guess it's a fair price now, since I kept seeing the set over 400 used, but still expensiveeeeeeeeeeeee.
