The TV VF-1A has been long out of stock in HKC, sucks they put a TV Kakizaki, they should've contacted you about the stock problem. Contact them and perhaps they could give full refund or give you credit for the price difference. HKC has an account here too. Try PM'ing them here. Good luck.

Maybe they will finally add the damn antenna to the backpack. PT intake covers? Or an improve way to make the arms swing out for Gerwalk and Battroid without too many friction with the legs? How about articulate TV clown hands??? that would be sick!! or...LED's!!!

reissues and the v3 YF-19 We got the VF-4, so a VF-2SS doesn't seem that impossible anymore, besides, I doubt the Macross II license is expensive, hehehe

Wow! if the Yamato stand actually came that way I would have gladly pay it's ridiculous price. Really really GREAT work man! Love the fanjet with Hikaru, Roy, the sodapop machine with Minmei and that little brat replicating the scene in SDFM. Awesome!!

In SDFM, ARMD-1 and ARMD-2 are destroyed in space in the Zentradi attack, they were meant to dock with the SDF-1, when the SDF-1 folded it took the Prometheus and Daedalous with it to the orbit of Pluto, when they're rescuing the survivors they retrofitted the ships to attach to the SDF-1 in place of both ARMD. According to the DYRL PSX game, the SDF-1 already had both ARMD attached to it when it folded. It also shows the Prometheus being destroyed split in half after Skull squadron takes off and you can correlate it with DYRL when Misa and Hikaru are stranded on Earth and find the destroyed Prometheus split in the middle. Supposedly after the events of SDFM where Kaifun destroys part of the SDF-1 and the Daedalous in his final attack, the SDF-1 got repaired and fitted ARMD's in both arms keeping its current look with future Macross series. There's also the inconsistency on how the SDF-1 colors switch places between modes in SDFM.

Thanks. The hip missiles in SDFM are in a packet that breaks and the missiles launches, in DYRL it only shows the missile, I toyed with the idea of painting it but it's not the missile itself but the packet and would look weird, You can sort of dissemble that part and one could scratch build a new missile housing with the missile but it's beyond my abilities. Notice that there doesn't seem to be legs missiles in DYRL pic also. The small change on the reactive warhead really makes the TV Roy look better somehow. In case anyone is wondering, the DYRL hands I got from MWF member DyNo about 4 years ago, they are recast of the 1/48 VF-1 I think, I was going to use them for the YF-19 but never did and ended up using them here.

Here's a thought, what if Yamato production of Valks never stopped, as in why some companies got stock of VF-17 super packs after Yamato went bust, but then the VF-1S Hikaru that HKC was so sure to get stock never came, what if Arcadia kept production but is repackaging everything in new Arcadia boxes and will soon announce the continuation of Macross toys under the Arcadia brand. fingers crossed!

This is a custom DYRL scheme VF-1J with GBP-1S Armor, the only difference is the yellowed tip missiles instead of red and bigger DYRL hands instead of TV clown hands. It was a fairly easy custom, some slight dissemble required to remove the missiles except for the shoulder pieces that require some careful prying of the missile housing rather than full dissemble which was impossible. I consider this a lost Yamato milking opportunity, so I hope Arcadia pays attentions if they continue the Macross line, they can still milk a lot of the VF-1 molds to death with this type of extremely easy repaint. Don't know why Yamato kept issuing the TV valks with the bucket missile attachment that was never used in SDFM instead of correct colored tipped reactive warheads. Great news, if Arcadia will indeed continue the VF-1 line, then they will eventually release super/strike packs. I swear if they do I'm gonna buy two dozen of them!! :P

SDFM dogfight!!

I'm really starting to suspect that a lot of this items go horribly up by shill biding.

I contacted shapeways last night and got the email of them this morning telling me I can reorder for printing. Just place an order for 2 19 hinges? wow, that must be for Kicker's fleet.

You must open bay where the hands tuck inside and try to pry the forearm apart, it is a very tight fit, I don't know if it's glued or not, only way to get access to the elbow, if you manage to pry the forearm apart give the elbow a little sanding to prevent it from rubbing the extra paint layer you will add. If you can't pry it apart, there's plenty of space to let the masking tape between the elbow and forearm.

jenius is probably bound like Graham on sworn secret about Macross product. They are only wise enough to correct us when we get paranoid. Notice that after some very gloomy post Graham has now gone very quiet, a sign of good things to come, or am I being overly positive???

Just ordered a VF-11B eventough I already have one. Now that it seems that Arcadia will continue the VF-1 line I guess it's better to get this old valks that will probably not get reissued. If only I could get the VF-22S Gamlin at a decent price.
