Value speculation: Will Arcadia devalue 98% of Yamato releases?
Valkyrie addict replied to Gakken85's topic in Toys
I love how Arcadia is so vague saying so little and so much at the same time. I like how they say "they got the new items", considering they are working on Macross Plus, I assume the old Macross Plus stuff was not acquired, so an improved YF-21 and VF-11B would be a possibility in the future. By them not getting the old 1/48 cause they were broken could mean two things, 1. the line is dead, 2. the possibility of a very expensive exclusive v2 1/48 line. -

I say that every reissue will cause devalue of the old respective Yammie, Arcadias will seem to include a bit more, like how the 30th version w/option parts of the VF-1's put the price of the first releases to the floor. I hope Arcadia managed to get a hold of the Macross 7 and VFX license, with those they can released every Macross valk. -

Mini-Review of RoHby's VF-11 (2012 Macrossworld-Con Exclusive)
Valkyrie addict replied to vf1x's topic in Model kits
So cute, all this SD valks are hilarious, too bad most of the time they are WF exclusives and limited so their price is always high, I hope he can produce them. This should go in the modelling section. -
I agree, they do seem a darker gray in all the promo shots but not TV Roy black. Curious

Yes it can. There are also a couple of shot without all that Frontier crap on it showing the beautiful Moonshooter scheme. http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_a1d5a9100101nkrh.html

According to estimates by some members here you have at least 6-8 months to save up. Let's say the valk is priced for around 300, put a jar with a YF-19 label, put 10-12.50 bucks in there every week for 6 months and you'll have the 300.

Funny blog, nice girl! a keeper. I guess I understand my girl a little bit more after reading that. Although, a coworker of her turn out to be a Robotech fan and she swiftly corrected him about Macross and the guy was dumbfounded by how much she knew.

The fokker 1S comes with options parts like the 30th and the new stand, so obviously this will come with the same. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=39641&p=1063125 The Strike/Super parts will supposedly be released next year.

It's not just a simple stand, it's the "east" stand.

uhhh...Very nice!

VF-22S! The SV-51 has many flaws and current speculations suggest that the Macross Zero line will be redone, so getting an SV-51 might not be the best option for the near future.

They are expensive resin SD models. They were supposed to be sold in WF but they've been on HLJ for a little while. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=38618

Add some hazard tape to certain parts of the base and arm and you can make it look very DYRL launch platform like. Piss poor photoshop:

The GN-U version of the 19 had those rear leg packs, if you see the prototype pics, the pieces seem to fit there, but they do have those tabs that make me think they will serve to lock the legs in position in fighter mode.
-
I think they are meant to be there but as an attaching point to lock the leg with the fuselage along with the shoulder pack to prevent the floppyness from the v1 with FP on that area since the legs still need to bend down a little to fit the packs.
