I hate it when they do this, why call it something that it's obviously not, can't Hollywood come up with original names anymore.

I can't wait for the next 10 years when we begin to complain about how the prototype pics of the v4 YF-19 don't show the accurate LED lighting color shade and why it won't come with included batteries.

I'd like a whiff of what HG is smoking! unbelievable! Well, I hope Hasbro completely destroys HG for Big West reacquired somehow the Macross license out of Japan. One can only dream. -
You're right about the shape, but they've done a lot to be as anime accurate as possible and achieved it almost completely except for the prominent gap. The gap has been complained a lot and if they could figure out a way for all the gimmicks we are getting they can certainly find a way to reduce a simple gap as much as possible, unless something is impeding it and it seems the neck cover gets housed in there and could be a reason.

I use the chair thing to display with the pilot, helps give a sense of scale. Actually, Roy shot himself, he was too badass to be killed by a nameless Zentradi so he offed himself.

Yeah, I was joking, but you know when the price is announced, this wouldn't be MW without a lot of complaining. I'm surprised, it's been roughly two months since Arcadia officially announce the continuation of the Macross franchise and they have already announce 4 Macross products. I can't wait to see what's next. Got it, the neck cover goes into the fuselage like the VF-17 neck cover, I guess this is the reason for the uniboob gap.

I bought a damaged valk from a member here that got damaged transformed by a toddler, that thing was beat up. Benson13. Perhaps the contractor is a collector and had some slight knowledge of valks? but I agree, if I had someone I hired to do some housework and started asking questions about the price of things in my house I'd be highly suspicious, never had any friend asked me about how much I've spend on my collection. If you are really worried about the guys, maybe you could do an internet search on the contractors company, see feedback and try to correlate with any break ins within the timeframe and area. Is your apartment left alone at any time of the day? is there a doorman or super you could maybe give the heads up to keep an eye if the contractors return in a suspicious manner?

Yeap, people who see my collection always think they are transformers too. Unless they're someone I know or show some genuine interest I can go into some detail what they are exactly, if I don't know the person I just go, "I like collecting them" and talk about something else. Any girl who maturely appreciate your nerdy hobby is a keeper.

Because we all love a little space for our uniboobs! Kidding, it was complained before and I guess people just gave up. Come to think about it, if they made the nose a few mm higher and the rear canopy fuselage less sloped, a little lower and thicker the gap could be reduce a lot, or maybe, add a little hinged panel on the inner rear canopy fuselage to rotate fwd and close the gap? I'm about 80% sure Arcadia reads this forum...come on! fix it!! still about a year away, there's still time!

Wow, battroid looks stunning and fighter keeps it's sleekness, highly impressed! High speed mode looks like it simply has a forward sliding mechanism after setting it in position, I just hope if it is that way, it include a way to lock it in position or with time the wing could slide in/out on its own. Looks like gunpod may have a collapsible handle with perhaps a small tab space in the hilt to attach it to the tab on the shield. I cannot figure out the different color part on the tailfin. I doubt it's magnets, too thin and the point it rests is the corner of the back ankle. CAD looks a lot like a hinge and two panels, could it be moving rudders??? I love they finally did proper skinny Isamu like the anime. I find funny how the majority is going "this is amazing, take my money Arcadia", when the price is finally released then its "Why so much for mostly a repaint and extra parts". Opening leg missile panel with missile attached, beautiful!

I think we got the VF-4G because Yamato was going bust and they just said "f*ck it, let's go out with a bang", and they sure did. I'm ok with the price, more than what I expected for a VF-1 but we are in essence finally getting a complete VF-1 with pretty much everything we all asked for. But I would've preffer a more aestheticly pleasing stand.

I really hope the new boxes come with Tenjin artwork. The Yamato were so boring, would make keeping the boxes more tolerable.

I'm sure it brings the regular decals and waterslide decals. I always felt the crotch system despite being improved still needed more fixing, after a while the swingbar bay tends to open and make the torso fall back slighty specially with FP attached.

I hope Arcadia doesn't go trough the whole list of VF-1's reissue before beginning to release obscure valks like the Alaska base Yamato was planning. I think Arcadia would get more sales after reissuing the iconic Roy and Hikaru hero valks by beginning to release VF-1 repaints of obscures valks. Also...VF-4G reissue!!

Never ordered from AmiAmi before and I'm pretty loyal to HLJ, they're customer service is top notch. Don't know if it's the case with AmiAmi but during the buying frenzy I noticed that all companies compensated a lower sale price with the shipping price and in the end the difference would be of a few dollars only.
