Not knowned yet, we've only seen CAD and prototype images, no details on transformation and extra gimmicks.

One cannot be simply done with the VF-1

Was Mylene bass released also?

I'm getting fat, so Arcadia valks may be my saving grace.... valk or food... who knew valks may have a health benefit.
-
I only have one foldildo, considering it initially sold for around 60 bucks and came bundled with the YF-19 FP, most people only got one or two, and since it's now getting horribly scalped for +130, if Arcadia has a fold booster in mind, they should reissue but may need different stand adapters cause the design of the 19 is different and may not have the gaps where the fold adapters attached. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! what will you do with the old YF-19 fleet then? I'm definitely getting this and if the price is right, a couple more.
-
I don't think it fits but if it's similar to the YF-21 stand you can take the arm out and the middle gap could be like a carrier catapult. Nice to know!! welcome to the board! Do you have any knowledge who's the user who seems to post Arcadia stuff before the official announcement on your message boards? is it an Italian version of Graham and Save here.

I know, they are all based on the YF-24, but since when do you base 3 final aircraft on one prototype that present 3 different performance envelopes? Bandai lazyness, instead of making 3 new valks they made the same one 3 times with a lame excuse. I think a better explanation would have been that they are all prototypes with a YF designation following an specific requested pattern Macross 7 was made to sell toys too, it featured the VF-1, VF-11, VF-17, VF-19, VF-22, VF-5000, Batlle 7 and the Varuata modified VF-14, but all the valks were completely different. By Bandai Frontier reasoning you might have call the VF-19P a VF-23 or something and the VT-1C a VF-5. The VF-4 and VF-5000 are supposed to use many parts of a VF-1, but instead of getting a similar looking valk we got one of the most radical VF's designs in the VF-4 and the VF-5000 one of the most beautiful. Even Macross II had the decency to make the Metal Siren an ugly mofo, but a different ugly mofo from the VF-2. Imagine if Bandai had made Macross 7, we would've gotten the VF-19 six times and we'd be up to the VF-40 designation, if you think about it, in Frontier, we are getting the VF-19 in 3 different flavors, the brief-25/27/19 borrow so much from the 19 that Apple should sue them. Anyway on topic. I think I may cancel my preorder so someone who will actually enjoy it can get it, I've really tried to like them but the more I look into them the more I get annoyed. I apologize if my rant may offend anyone, not my intention. Edit: we even saw the VA-3C in Macross 7.

Oh...got it, semantics got me on that. I thought you meant Arcadia may have made some improvement, sorry about that, the crotch was fixed (I feel it still needs improvement) and I think the most important fix was they corrected the exploding shoulder hinge issue.
-
Yeap, already being discussed in the VF-1S Fokker thread. Didn't know Macross was big in Italy
-
Nope, sorry, I mean no offense to the people who like this I just find the frontier mecha design too "super robot Bandai" for my taste and battroid seems very uninspiring. The frontier mecha is the most blatant and lazy designs to sell toys ever, VF-25, VF-27, VF-29, they are all the same fuselage, just different wings, head and little things here and there, like how every Gundam is the same but different because of the color and a shield, might as well call them 25A/B/C/D/E/F/G like the VF-1, instead of the number that denoted a different aircraft. I guess the only design I'm sorta liking are the VF-171 and VF-30 and only on fighter mode because battroid is more of the same. That show display picture is not doing it any favors.

I certainly hope all Arcadia release feature Tenjin art. That boxart is siiiiiiiiiick!
-
They could reissue VF-11B/C with addons (atmospheric boosters, stand, perhaps a freaking side cover that can lock the back). I think the 11B never got the canopy shield lock fix like the 11C, someone correct me if I'm wrong on this. Is T-Rex working with Arcadia like with Yamato? certainly seem so. YF-19 looks amazing, battroid, finally done right, the gunpod is properly sized this time, the old v1 gunpod looked unthreateningly thin. I believe the battroid head is different from the v1 1/60, the new head is sleeker according to the CAD: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=39470&p=1057202 I still believe the neck cover is PT and not detachable, I may be reading more into it than I should but I noticed that every detachable part is layed down but not the neck cover. (being very optimistic on this)

There are no designs updates from Arcadia as far as we know to the v2 mold, unless you're referring to the old Yammies v.1 Then, you're in for a treat. Glad Hikaru 1S is next, hope the FAST packs are coming soon. I'm liking the stand a bit more, that gray coloring looks nice and having it store the missile is a welcomed gimmick, I personally hated having to go dig to trough all the boxes to get any missile or part I left there.

Hot damn!! outstanding!
-
Nope, it will come tampoed like always, but we will get the regular decal sheet and a waterslide version. Like the weathered version had.

Yes please!

The VF-1S DYRL Fokker is a WF exclusive? huh... guess that makes more sense. Then I really demand a cool box design.
-
Since this thing may be a one off I preordered one, I've tried my best to try and like this valk, but I really despise its design along with the rest of the Frontier ones. If I don't like it in person I may sell it after it's no longer available and see what scalping feels like.
-
Maybe Arcadia is not making as many as Yamato did to prevent overstocking hence the higher price since the production run is smaller? So is it confirm a late August release along with the VF-1J?
-
One thing to consider also with how they are display is where they are displayed. There is a certain standard that people expect when visiting someone else, if you have a huge display of valks in the main living room or your bedroom some people may not see it as a nerdy hobby but more of a level of immaturity in having toys lying all around. It doesn't apply only to toys, any collectable, imagine going into someone's house and the first thing you see if sport memorabilia everywhere, it's cool but ultimately is sorta uncomfortable.

What is that? the manual for the Bodolza ship?

I only got the VF-0S. If their v2 series is as good as the VF-4 and they finally make the Reactive Armor, I'll get them all!
