    I dig the movie dinobot toys. They've got nothing at all to do with G1 dinobots, don't really match the prevailing movie aesthetic and most likely look nothing like how the on screen version will look IF they even end up on screen at all. BUT, as transforming robot dinosaurs, they look really badass.

    Well if they weren't blatantly scalping, people wouldn't cancel orders all the time. but if they want to move to pay up front bullshit I'd be happy to never do business with them again. Anyways, I got mine, quickly, from HLJ, because they don't suck as a retailer. It's really just so beautiful in person. I don't care at all about any of the paint stuff or the blue canopy now that I have it in hand, it's perfect looking. The only thing that I'm not liking about this is that the neck has the annoying tilting neck plate thing going on that my VF-25F had. I know how to fix it, but I'm feeling way to lazy to actually take the thing apart and do the mod right now.

    eh, I don't feel like waiting a month, I'm just going to order the regular version. I get a free copy of Titanfall with it anyways.

    the original novel predates the halo series, but the armor design that people keep posting images of is from the Manga adaptation which started it's run in January of this year.

    I saw the movie without knowing it was based on a comic book and I liked it. Having since read the comics, I still like the movie but I can see how it would bother people who where already fans of the books.

    so I ordered this on amazon ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J5E4WD8 ) because Sailor Mercury is my favorite and it was cheaper than any of the Japanese shops that had it. I get that it's a web exclusive deal but I really don't know all that much about figuarts ZERO. I take it it's not very big.

    You're bending an inch long tab of abs up less than a millimeter. You're not putting appreciable stress on the plastic.

    You can skip that first step entirely. Just go to their site, find the stricker sheet(s) you want, and ad them to your cart. They you just check out with paypal. The shipping address is also handled through paypal. FYI, sometimes it can take a while for orders to get to you depending on how busy they are and if they have the decals you ordered on hand.

    seems pretty secure since he looked to have been holding the entire toy by just the hips at one point. The only thing that really bothers me about the design is where the hips sit. They've got the pelvis angled forward to give it the characteristic frontier era crotch thrust look, but by doing that it's put plane the hips are on WAY out in front of the plane the head sits on. coupled with the fact that you've got the shoulders sitting behind the head it makes the whole thing look like it's leaning backwards in battroid mode when viewed from the side. the more I think about it, the more I realize the VF-25 has kind of the same thing going on and I'm not sure if it's just bad poseing/angle that's putting too much enphasis on it with the YF-30, or if the VF-25 having a more vertical structure makes it look more natural.

    That's what Kawamori said it was supposed to be like. (personally, I think the VF-25 is a not too difficult to transform valk once you know what you're doing.)

    something I've noticed looking at the battroid mode, all they would need to do is use white plastic instead of tan with the existing paint apps to do a DYRL Hikaru.

    I'm always up at 3AM anyways because I'm an insomniac. also all of my successful orders have been through pure blind wandering into them.

    I'm 4 for 4 now on getting Bandai valks by just by randomly checking HLJ on a whim while I was browsing the site looking for other stuff. I actually like the wing extensions without the boosters and the little intake covers.
