    I like cast off, I love euro figures, I have some really lewd figures in my collection. for this particular pair though, the ballet outfits are what make them interesting. I've got plenty of girls in nothing but a thong in my collection, I don't have any ballerinas.

    Kind of a tangential observation here but the amount of energy it takes to operate ECA is just insane. I mean even in the frontier era we have these ridiculously powerful fusion turbines and they still can't generate enough power to run the ECA at full power in every mode unless you've got 4 of them augmented with fold quarts.

    I'm confused as to why this is supposed to be 1:1 scale. are they saying his alt mode is cassette tape and not a micro-cassette? that honestly seems really weird and kind of pointless unless they're making an oversize g1 Soundwave that's going to take cassette tapes.

    Kind of disappointing really. I haven't seen the Revenant yet, but I think this was objectively a much better film than Mad Max or TFA.

    so I finally sat down and watched this on cable. I don't get what all the fuss was about. Some of the action scenes looked cool, but others were really cheesy and dumb and the whole thing made zero sense and got pretty boring after a while.

    Given the logic that Macross works with, a transforming tank would be kind of redundant. The value of Valks and the reason they're the main military unit of macross is that they fill the roll multi-role fighter, Helicopter (gerwalk mode) and tank (battroid mode) in a single package. A tank/ground vehicle turning into a robot is just two modes serving the same purpose.

    if it weren't for the scale difference, I would have said they strait up recycled the face from there Bridgette Satellizer figure for this one. A+ really never ceases to underwhelm.

    I remember see this in theaters when I was 11 years old, and even then I hated that movie and thought the ending was terrible.
