    they included them on the 1/48's; they were incredibly fiddly and broke easily. I think it was one of the features that got cut for being more trouble than it's worth like the wing flaps and air brake.

    I'd rather get a VF-0A and put the reactive armor on that. I think it just makes more sense visually than putting it on the 0S.

    spoiler: the 262 doesn't have a battroid mode, it has a limb mode, and all 5 drakens combine to form a single robot.

    I almost kind of want to get one as some sort of strange curiosity. I also kind of want to get one in the vain hope it'll result in them making a VF-2JA. That's another thing that makes me sad about this thread. It's a constant reminder how unlikely it is that we'll ever see a truly good VF-2JA toy.

    the whole thing (valk and sap pack) looks too tall in fighter mode, but what really bothers me is how the the shape of the center cowl on the SAP pack is just completely wrong. Like they didn't even try to make it look like the line-art at all. let's give credit where credit is due, it looks like a toy from 1992, not 1982.

    If were lucky maybe they'll keep doing Valks and keep getting better like Yamato and Bandai. after this they can do a not nearly as disappointing metal siren, then a positively decent VF-2JA before starting over with a good VF-2SS.

    VT-1, VE-1 and M&M box sets are the only things VF-1 I'd actually buy at this point.

    Every time I check this thread, it makes me sad. I really wanted to see this toy turn out awesome and be the perfect VF-2SS toy that everyone has been begging to have for years; but it just looks so bad. Like CM's corporation Legioss bad.

    have hi-metals been hard to get after release like DXs? I've not been fallowing this stuff and I never preordered the glaug or the regult, so I'm wondering if I stand a chance of getting either at release.

    probably the same reason the Mi-24 has an 8 man passenger compartment. because the Russians are weird.

    on the button/dial subject, my favorite thing is steering wheel mounted controls. I love being able to flip radio stations without having to take my hand off the wheel at all. also, any car you plan to drive in for more than an hour should have cup holders. I'm all for driving as an extension of your being and driving for the enjoyment of the ride itself, but that experience is gonna be better when you're properly hydrated.

    So, I've got a problem. I just got a VF-0S from HLJ and I can't decide what mode to leave it in. Battroid looks really cool, but fighter mode is pretty too, and I'm not sure whether or not I should apply all the stickers or not. I can't make up my mind what to do with mine.
