    I think it's a little unfair to the VB-6 comparing it with something that isn't saddled with having to also be a space shuttle and a giant humanoid robot.

    I actually don't think the VF-2's (SS and JA) actually cheat all that much. they're not that much mass shifting or cheated use of space or mechanisms that don't actually make sense. TBH even some of the modern CG valks cheat more with there mechanicals.

    I'd pay $350 for a Bandai quality VF-2SS, I'd pay even more for a VF-2JA.

    I'm legitimately disappointed. Robotech is just so boring in this weird semi-dead, semi-comatose state it currently occupies. I wanna see them do something new a terrible so we can all laugh and groan and make endless jokes about everyone and everything involved.

    So what color is the Arcadia Roy, white or off-white? BTW, what is the cheapest way to get a hold of a VF-1S Roy at this point?

    If it works better, I an live without anime accuracy. and speaking of things that weren't in the anime that I want. can somebody tweet to Mr. K how cool it would be for them to include the leg missile launchers and double gunpod rack shown in the Master File book?

    The more I look at pictures, the more convinced I am that Evolution toys didn't even bother to look at any of the transformation or detail line art when they were making this toy. It really sucks because if you look at the line art, all the mechanicals to make a working, transforming toy are there. If a company with the engineering acumen of Arcadia or Bandai were to tackle this, it would work perfectly. Evolution just short-cutted the hell out of this thing though. they looked at where parts needed to be in each mode and used the simplest mechanism they could design to make it work regardless of how it actually looked. I mean, what in the actual hell? why? just... why?

    The regular GFF is pretty frustrating. I'd just get the GFFMC.

    hi, For Gundam action figure new, questions, and discussion we have a dedicated thread which my be more helpful: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=29348&page=56 I've got the regular GFF #017 humming bird; I honestly wouldn't recommend it. first off it's 1/144 so it's pretty tiny compared to the metal composite. The big problem though is in it's construction. It's made from a very soft plastic (like all regular GFF figures) and has a ton of small parts to build it in the different configurations, which makes it a pain in the butt to handle. The joint tolerances and parts fit is really poor, so it's really hard to pose and pretty much any attempt to handle the toy will result in it falling to bits.

    pretty sure that's the old prototype. it still has the neck molded in white instead of grey.
