  1. I haven't been able to stop listening to this song for literally days now.
  2. the Star Wars hype is too real, I needed something so I got a figuarts Vader and a storm trooper. They're a great size for my needs.
  3. maybe it's just anime where young guys look like women all the time. :edit:
  4. but Kill Bill was a cheap and nasty kung-fu/samurai movie. it was a terrible movie and yet is inexplicably popular, just like every other Tarantino film.
  5. I kind of like her because I like the artist, but the price is a bit much.
  6. why have I never listened to this before? It's the best thing ever.
  7. so is this a toy or a model kit? Because that looks sexy.
  8. Personally, I like 'give me your face' prime. It's amusing, and it makes the character unique.
  9. I want everything to be 24 inches tall, regardless of scale.
  10. I really don't understand the logic of wanting a toy in 1/72 scale so that it's in scale with unrelated model kits. If I collected 1/72 aircraft models I'd want 1/72 models of Macross aircraft, which exist. I've always seen 1/60 and 1/100 as more logical scales for Macross toys since they're both well established scales for other giant robot toys (and toy like models).
  11. They did do a 1:72 line. It was crap, everyone complained about it, and it died a quick death within a year.
  12. yeah, the flexibility is what I'm worried about and I can't seem to find answers on. The surface texture wasn't too much of a concern since I've had plenty of luck applying decals to rough/matte surfaces using Walthers Solvaset. You probably could lay a decal down on a bed of sand and get it to conform to the surface with that stuff. I know Mr. Super clear is safe on vinyl, but I just don't know how much give it will have. I'm probably just going to have to get some spare vinyl parts and start laying down clear coats to see what works.
  13. I'm super sad and upset that a max and milia set isn't happening. I'm legit about to cry.
  14. So I've got this idea for customizing a figure but it's somewhat unusual and I can't seem to find much information through google that would help. Since there's so many skilled model builders here I thought I'd ask for some advice. What I'm trying to do is make a tattoo for a vinyl figure and since I'm not that confident on my ability to freehand a graphic on a complex surface; I was hoping to create the design in photoshop, print it as a decal, and apply it that way. My first question is what type of decal paper to use. This is going to be fairly large (about 2 inches tall and an inch wide) and it's going on irregular and heavily curved surfaces, so I need something strong and flexible that isn't going to crack or rip or have the image run if I use decal softener. I'd like some recommendations on high quality decal paper. Also, will decals printed on an inkjet printer be to delicate? My other question is about the material I'd be applying the decals to. The figure is made of Vinyl, some of the parts are fairly rigid but have a bit of flex to them and others are very soft and flexible. Can decals be applied to flexible parts or will they crack/flake off if the parts flex too much? will using a strong softener like solvaset and then clear coating help?
  15. that's the first time I've heard AC6 called awesome.
  16. Looking back at this, I'm WAY more bothered by how the editing makes it look like he just nonchalantly flew face first into a massive piece of floating debris for no reason other than shier incompetence.
  17. so nobody else is bothered by the olive colored hair and lips?
