  1. The new Gundam Versus game is just about 100% confirmed for a US release, it looks great! I got burned out on the last ps3 release but it's been long enough I'm hyped to see what the new MS roster is.
  2. All this talk of toys breaking off the assembly line has got me thinking of starting a toy insurance company, pay me to pay you for a replacement .
  3. Oh hey there david, haven't seen you around in a while. I've been slowly workin on a MG Sazabi ver Ka, there are a lotta parts in that box . Oh yeah I forgot to pop up pictures of the RE Hamma Hamma, look at all those thrusters!
  4. The Corvette is inching closer to Ferrari looks with every iteration. The extended exhaust is hilarious, guess they had to muffle it more for the track runs?
  5. Exactly this, I want to say we all face it every now and then. I sure have at one point or another, I just had to put everything up and take a break for a bit. As for the price of valks and if they are worth it well that's up to you and only you. They are worth it to me as I love most valk designs and Arcadia/Bandai have hit the point where they are knocking each design outta the park (with small QC issues here and there of course). I wouldn't bank on 3p getting into original designs just yet, we will have to see how the KO VF-1 goes and see if the factories producing them make enough money to justify production. Maybe it will be the push 3p needs to show there is a market but that remains to be seen.

Don't they melt and reuse the scrap parts in the next batch of plastic injection? I think Mr.K wrote this up when they were making the 0D which has a bit of painting work on it so I could see the error rate being high on that end.
  7. I couldn't click on what seemed to be the donate button so I don't think it's active yet.
  8. I'm fine with the redesigned X-wing but I'd much rather see something new. Problem is that the old designs are what people recognize, why take the risk to make something new when you can bank on nostalgia and make an easy billion bucks. That applies to just about everything in ep7 I suppose. If they are going to reuse old designs for the next few movies at least bring back the TIE Interceptor....
  9. Here's a link with some pictures of the decals, I may pick up a few they look pretty good. http://www.gundamkitscollection.com/2017/04/gundam-decal-no103-to-no108-release-info.html
  10. After a little bit of searching I found some info, pretty interesting aircraft and a good read if you have some time. I love the ejection system, reminds me of the Ka-50. http://www.sikorskyarchives.com/S-72 (RSRA).php It was later developed into an X-wing http://www.sikorskyarchives.com/X-WING.php
  11. Yeah gotta wait for the real run to be produced for Arcadia before the factory starts pumping out KOs.
  12. Is the type zero going to be an exclusive like unit 2 or a mass release? I haven't seen anything indicating either way.
  13. Man I love popped collar Gundam. I've yet to pick up MP Megs 2.0, still not sure if I ever will. I like fun transformations and MP-36 looks a bit too fiddly with the risk of paint scratching added on top. Maybe one day there will be a fun to transform masterpiece gun Megatron but for now I'll save my money.
  14. Classic Nintendo, don't want people having too much fun. Well except the scalpers, they are going to love this.
  15. New info on the localization of Yakuza Kiwami, looks like the US release date is August 29th and the price is $30!
  16. Wow Arcadia is really opening the floodgates, I hope they try to pace themselves with these re-releases so they don't end up like Yamato.
  17. We should all chip in $10 and send one to jenius so he can rip it apart
  18. Nice! Now all we need is the KO companies to say they are working on a VF-0D so we can get an Arcadia re-release with all the fixes the VF-0S has.
  19. I heard they were replacing the defective units as well, also doing memory swaps so you don't lose any data. The Nintendo warranty page says they don't cover physical damage but it seems like a case of manufacturing defect to me. https://www.nintendo.com/consumer/manuals/warrantyinfo.jsp
  20. The Yamato YF-19 also had magnets on the leg packs as I recall. I do wish they would continue the trend but it's not a big deal breaker.
  21. Looks like the demo is only on PS4 for now, dunno why they didn't put one on PC. Maybe they just expect people to buy and return the whole game these days so why bother .
  22. Like others have said many of us were around when valks were cheap and plentiful. These days the older 1/60 releases got into the hands of the people that wanted them and they don't move as quickly. The Yamato VF-11 is a perfect example, when they came out online stores had trouble moving them but now they go for a crazy premium if you can find one for sale. Keep a close eye on the MW For Sale threads, thats where I usually see the best deals though sometimes you can get lucky with Mandarake or eBay.
  23. Do it! There's even a demo up to try if you want to give the combat a try.
  24. I loved the last episode! Now for the series overall, I'd rank it as an upper mid tier Gundam show. Sure it had a some downsides, I think the biggest problem was that the series was too long. Maybe a more concise 35-40 episode run would have eliminated the need for a few of the episodes with either nothing happening or the battles with no point. Another smaller criticism would be that most of the MS designs never got a time to shine, the Vidar only got used twice in combat and one of those battles ended with running away. As for positives I'd say the best thing in IBO may have been the worldbuilding, it's the best I've seen in an AU Gundam series with no Tomino involvement. So many clever ideas all packed into one series, I'd be surprised if they don't go back to show off the calamity war at some point. I'm not sure on a sequel, maybe a whole new cast fighting the new governments oppression with some of the old cast coming back in supporting roles? All that said I'm not sure I'll go back to rewatch IBO anytime soon, I'm kinda in the mood for a Zeta rewatch now that I'm thinking of sequels.
  25. Huh that's strange, the left leg armor has the NP-FB-01 upside down. I'm still fine with the regular version, too many no step markings.
