Very Nice, I'll bet people on here would pay a lot for recasts of that beast, if you could make it out of ABS that is.

So is there any progress to be seen on this yet?

Here is how to make a perfect variable VF-4: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=19974

The demotion of Pluto, while annoying to me and many others, does make sense, though we will have to see how large it truly is when SS1 reaches it in a few years. But at least this keeps us from having a tenth planet named Xena, man some astronomers need a life. Now we just have to look off the ecliptic and find Yoggoth the true 9th or 10th planet.

Ambitious project man, how are your planning to release these, burn to DVD or VCD? Hey one more question have you thought to contact Hurin about using the script he used for his perfect sub version, it is generally considered to be the top translation out there?

I'm really hoping that that is him before he takes on a terran alt mode and that he changes after that. Having Megs as a jet just seems wrong at this point, especially an alien jet, let's face it they are "robots in disguise" aren't they?

Very nice shot I love those kinds of pics.

The individuals I am refering to were in the crowd scene.

MGREXX, LORD KUNGFU... we've seen this kinda poo before. 427530 Please god tell me he is not MGREXX I thought we got rid of that cancer. And not to feed the troll but maybe he should have posted his little intro in the HOMEPAGES section! I also doubt the veracity of some of his claims, maybe I should ask my good friend from College Adam Pawlus about him, oops look I can drop names too. -

"Mommy mommy can I have the transformers hentai please? I really want to see Megatron violate young girls and Optimus get it on consentually with a confused minor. MMM statchatory." Serious what in Drig's name is Takara thinking with this toyline? Are they that hard up for ideas that the concept of human on robot intercourse is the only thing left to them? And does anyone else notice the resemblance between Megatron's tentacle tongue and my Wife's Best Friend? aka the one eyed snake, aka Willy, aka John Thomas, etc... -
IIRC there is a scene in Mac+ that shows the crowd gathered for the Sharon Apple Concert. In that scene you see a number of people that have been theorized to be survivors of the original crew including Claudia and Global. So she is still alive at that time, but as two she is doing with her life, who knows, maybe she and Global hooked up, or perhaps she is some high ranking diplomat by that time. She would after all still be a hero of SW1.

that was my biggest gripe with NCIS when it first came out too, not getting the ships right. I mean one of the first episodes I watched had them onboard the DD-964 the Paul F Foster. And guess what they filmed aboard it up at Port Hueneme, but all the establishing shots they used to show the ship out at see were of a DDG-51 class, several actually. That really bugged the heck out of me, I only continued watching the show because I liked the stories, characters and actors, and of course at the time Sasha Alexander, dag but she was hot.

I remember that. I remember seeing that picture in Combat Aircraft or Air Forces Monthly back in early '02 in an article that advocated cancelling further Super Hornet orders then pulling all the F-14 hulls out of AMARC and doing that to them. The authors thought that somehow welding an entirely new front end (and wings from the look of it) onto a 20 year old hull that had been sitting in the Arizona desert for the past 6 years or so would not only be easy, but cheap and fast as well. 426211 Ah have to love it when morons think that modifying an aircraft is that easy. Or what was the discussion we had here a few months ago when that little dippy said that Japan should building the planes from its anime not knowing anything aircraft design. Overall though the stealthy tomcat was not a terrible idea, it just wasn't a practical one as a swing wing aircraft would have serious design issues if your tried to make it stealthy.

Fuel really wouldn't be too much of an issue, they passed by several gas giants on their way home, all they had to do was dip into the atmosphere and collect hydrogen for processing into valkyrie fuel. Missile propellent, that is a different story same with gun powder and explosives. Figure the P and D as well as the big M herself were probably all fully weapon stocked before leaving, but they were expending it quickly too so it probably comes down to scavenging. Post battle they probably went out and gathered up every loose peice of debris they could gather. You see in several episodes as wrecked valks and destroids are hauled around inside the ship, they were probably also hauling in destroyed zentraedi gear as well. Figure a single zentraedi missile would probably provide enough raw material for what a dozen mini-missiles? Plus the Macross took out a few Zentraedi ships as well, and they had to have supplies and provisions onboard. True most of it would not be usable, but you take what you can get right? Imagine that as a Macross side story, a series following the guys who cleaned up after a battle and picked through the wreckage looking for anything usable.

That is some awesome work man too bad you didn't recast it with the modification you know people here would have jumpd all over it. BTW what scale is it?

I wouldbn't technically call that a bad landing, just a failed nosegear deployment. A bad landing generally means that it was caused by a pilot foul up. That does not appear to be the case here. Look at the first picture, the pilot obviously knows that something is wrong so comes in way nose high to allow for the fuselage to aerobrake and slow them down, thus limiting the landing run. I can imagine that he might have wanted to make a dirt landing as it would have possibly limited the damage, though it surely would have fodded the engines. However the only way not to FOD the engines on that landing would be to shut them down, but then he would have had to come in with the nose lower to maintain airspeed. So, it was probably someone on the ground who made the call to land on the runway. I'll bet they shut down the engines as soon as they were wheels down and went to the APU to try and not kill them. All in all it looks like a good no nosewheel landing, and the pilot must have had some skill a the plane is not a complete flaming wreck. Infact it looks like after a few months as a hanger queen that she might fly again, though I am judging that strictly on what we can see in the pictures, I am sure taht there is more damage internally that we can't see.

IS that the one that had the backpack molded into place and the vertical fins were the inner back of the lower legs?
-
From what I can see, and remember, some of it looked interesting, and I'd almost be tempted to pick up some of the pure macross stuff just for the artwork. I also vaguely remember the Misa dream sequence comic, I think I just skimmed it at a comic book shop, and was like, WTF is that, Roy's alive and there are like three Macrosses and a dozen early megaroads.

The sweep and size of the wing do not bother me so much, it's a cessna so you know it'll have good stall handling, but what wierds me out is that notch in the leading edge at the root. WTF is that all about, just extend the fuselage a few inches aft, it just looks strange and week in my opinion.
