  1. You're talking Matchbox Veritech Fighter size, aren't you? An accurate VF-1S that could accommodate the same figures has always been a subconscious desire. Yeah, I think I would go for that.
  2. I love my Dapols, but the Character R/C models in 5" and 1:4 scale are my favorites. Having him chase a cat around and deliver lines at the same time is amazing. I wish you luck. I assume you already know why the figure was cancelled, but just in case you didn't know the full story, it's covered in this thread at a certain point. https://gallifreybase.com/gb/threads/big-chief-1-6-doctor-who-figures-part-3.234855/page-14
  3. Seriously, I know the plastic quality isn't what we'd like, but I'd have taken the dive a few times now what with the variants they have produced but for shipping. I must have added things to a cart over a dozen times just to remind myself how it wasn't worth it.
  4. Nice Corgi Bessie hiding there! You still have a few K-9s to get. Enough for his own shelf, actually.
  5. Nah, I'd love to see them on shelves in US shops one day. I still think that's a worthwhile hope.
  6. Should we ask which organs are still functioning? Or, do you mean ones you still get use out of?
  7. Then it's still the end times for my wallet.
  8. If so, it's a sign of the end times. Might as well max out the AmEx and buy a case if it happens.
  9. Yeah, I mentioned it in the Ostritch thread. Seems pulled. Having said that, they did the same with the Hikaru Mechanic Edition and then put it back up under a different url.
  10. As I posted above, ordered twice, and both arrived in boxes; not shippers. Didn't need to ask. Again, maybe I am lucky. Maybe I won't be this time.
  11. Ordered twice before, and both times arrived safely. The DX VF-1D didn't have a lot of bubble, but enough. The VF-1S Mechanic Edt. had more, but the outer box looked repurposed a bit. Still arrived in immaculate shape.
  12. I don't have the finances to order at more than one place, so fingers crossed I get the one I ordered. 🫰*gulp*
  13. Actually went with LP again (I feel like I'm playing Russian roulette every time, but I seem to keep winning). Damn this PO happening so fast after the last. I really wasn't prepared, and might have tried Yoyakunow. I really hope I don't regret this...
  14. I'd expect KC to be more adventurous than Bandai on that, but I'd love it. I usually always go for a transparent version of a model if it becomes available.
  15. That's what I always say. When you deal with retailers like Amazon, and (for other mainstream toys like Transformers, etc) Target, Walmart, etc, there's always a variety of discounts that can be applied either via coupons, cashback sites, credit card offers, giftcard offers, and, sometimes, pricematching. Sadly, Macross has yet to have the same foothold in US retail to make the most of it, but several of these options work for Amazon at least and lessen the pain to one's wallet.
