Too late. Amazon has it for $325.58 now. Galactic Toys on there has it for $254, but I think they always do.
-
Yeah, was notified when it hit $215 a couple days ago. Dropped to $213 today. If it drops below $200, I think they will clear a lot out.

That's been my understanding as well. Well, it supposedly increased further as of a few hours ago. It's now 245%.- 2626 replies

From what I've read, it's pretty clear. If the product says Made In China on the box, it gets the China tariff wherever it's being shipped from. What someone else essentially raised was what if a Japanese shipper lies or refuses to declare place of manufacture on the customs label, and whether someone might open a package to check that or not. Well, that's like shipping cocaine through customs. You never know what would prompt someone to randomly pull your package, but last I heard dogs couldn't sniff out Guangdong. If the shipper is caught lying about place of manufacture, I believe they will be penalized, though, and more likely than not a lot of their packages would be pulled going forward.- 2626 replies

Last I checked, if the HMR says it's Made in China, it gets tariffed as coming from China even if shipped from Japan.- 2626 replies

Just pulled mine, and you're right. Same. The angle of the photo above and the glare made me think the edges of the spot varnish looked like stickers slapped on, and it's not.

Is that box different now? I have to look at mine, but those stickers look new to me.

Same, until they did. On my last order customer service initially refused an exchange for damaged (before shipping) merch, and then finally sent another damaged one to replace it. Tried to get me to pay for shipping too, which I declined When I asked for third try or refund, they issued refund short of their fees. Literally nickel and diming not to make things right. Took too many emails to get to where I was before I ordered. Never again.

I hope these upgrades happen, and carry over to the GLAUG as well.- 2626 replies

I once succumbed to A-E's pricing. Their customer service ended that.

Some are complaining it's more accurate to GvMegaguirus than 2000, but I love it enough to want to get it. It's not high-priced either. Similar to the '54 poster one, I hear.

Argh. The one I had hoped to also be able to buy alone!😆

Except for that bridge.

Damn. eKnight just refrained from the upcharge, but they don't carry the 3Z.

Lovely. I need to see if I can do those poses.

Bandai got pretty far with it, and have rolled it out two or three times already. They know the questions begin once more when it's displayed again, so I do wonder if they are indeed trying to do it for real. I just think the sales model might need to be like KC, or the TT Star Trek releases as of late with it being crowdfunded to get off the ground.

The way Mr K talks about the SDF-1 reissue ("last time at this price", etc.) sounds like it's not priced to make a profit. First ever altruistic Macross release?
-
I thought about it, especially due to the hardened bridge, but as low as it is, it's still it's a lot for that alone. A PF, though...*sigh*

Wow. You got me there. I may have also used poor punctuation. Thanks for letting that go.

Yes, we know. It was asked and answered by him back on February 9th and posted to this thread. I don't see how that is bizarre at all.
