  1. Gasaraki is pretty fair and might be worth your time @Shizuka the Cat.
  2. (Chamberlain Voice) Mmmm hhmmm!
  3. This is a lot cheaper than the YF-19. By about ¥10,000 or thereabouts. I do think these missiles should have been included and the price raised about ¥2500 (because Bandai.)
  4. Are the missiles out yet?
  5. Yeah? Where? Are you intending to use your VF-9 pilot?
  6. Or longer, yes. Most sites want payment up front for TWE stuff, though, and I don’t think HLJ carries those items at all.
  7. Is it PO madness, or a Tamashii Web Exclusive?
  8. She seemed to be enjoying herself, her expression when she thought she broke it by separating the legs from their swing bar was priceless. “Sorry, Mr. Bandai!!”
  9. Anyone else think his Doctor Strange accent makes him sound exactly like Tom Selleck?
  10. Dunno how durable that plastic tab will be; the one that connects the back plate to the torso. Looks thin. But it’s confirmed beyond doubt that we have an integrated heat shield. We good now?
  11. I’d also say that Dark Side users are inward-focused, using their power for personal gain, and Light Side users are outward-focused, using their power to advance others. That’s as close to “objectively evil” as we're going to get, since I can’t think of a culture that holds unbridled greed and selfishness as desirable traits.
  12. Seem to recall it’s happened before, with either Yamato or Arcadia.
  13. Well, there are no US roundels, no “NAVY” nomenclature, only the fact the warning placards are in English make me think this is a Western Tomcat, rather than a Persian Cat.

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

Use epoxy or a “hot”, aggressive plastic cement. Apply thinly, press together, let cure for 48 hours. Then treat it as you would your newborn son and it - MIGHT - stay in one piece. Good luck.
  15. That’s awesome! Now we just need a painting guide.

    Hi-Metal R

What country is that in? Nothing here on eBay USA... yet.
  17. They were nuked twice and mauled in a massive war they started... that may well have formed a certain view on war in their cultural mindset.
  18. Just got my Reliant XL yesterday. Really happy with it, it’s surprisingly heavy with great detail like you said.
  19. Well, if you want to replace it, it’s in stock at Nippon-Yasan for the low, low price of 41,000¥. https://www.nippon-yasan.com/7160-macross-30-dx-chogokin-yf-30-chronos.html I don’t know how they got them.
  20. I noticed that too. Toy looks good and has much ratchety goodness. I’m looking forward to it!
  21. If so, that helps. If the actual plastic ball has separated from the metal shaft, you’ll need 30 minute epoxy, or maybe JB Weld. Clean all debris and old adhesive, rough up the plastic ball and metal shaft a bit to encourage a better join, mix the epoxy exactly as instructed, and apply. After joining, leave it alone for 24 hours. 48 might be better. Then reassamble the joint, not screwing anything together too tightly. You want a firm hold, not a death grasp on the joint. Good luck!
  22. He has the parts, does he have the screws?
  23. If so, the Major looks a bit... whimsical. Hm. I can buy Kusanagi as angry, driven, philosophical, contemplative, encouraging, distant, and, yes, happy, even laughing. But whimsy isn’t a word I’d ever associate with her. Might be the pink light.
