Yeah when reasearching my 1/55 custom I used the data and measured every Battroid figure/kit I have. The measurements vary wildly from scale to scale even suposedly same scale stuff is all out of wack. I ended up doing a mean average of all the measurements from the various scales from 1/200 to 1/48 Yamie. Not so sure now if any of them are actually "acurate".

I have often though about macross esq Actionman/G.I Joe customs. They would be kinda cool a Generic flight suited figure would be great. The ToysRus near me sells the newer type doll with the plastic manga style hair cut. this one looks like the older more tradidtional one like I have in the atic. Id love something like this to go with my 1/6th Stormtroopers and ATAT drivers. Anyone though of doing a new series Battlestar Galactica marine figure ?

Thats the shame of it as we were working for Nintendo under Bandai. I only got to see what ever Bandai wanted to store in our warehouse which was big, remember the scene from Xfiles when they just put the alien artfacts or whatever into the warehouse. Well that was what it was like. Did see all the Bandai/Hasbro Jetfires. They wouldnt let me get one as they were in bonded stores. At the time I didnt know but this was about the time that the whole copyright thing with Jetfire started up. Sadly they probably got destroyed like so much stuff did when it made it to the bonded store. Had it been a few years later and M7 valks and such may have found their way into my pockets.

Theres an english manga magazine that often refers to Robotech, they also usually show mospeada screen grabs too. maybe there is someting in it. They do say though that Robotech brought manga to the western masses. There never seems to be mentions about its true origins though. Basically boiling it down you are saying that its not that great an anime, and certainly not worth getting all hot and bothered about. Just wait till its in the 9.99 bin at Blockbusters.

Well if it makes you feel better Im still waiting on a Gundam I bought on eBay a month ago. I paid extra for priority air mail to get in four days. 1 month later and no response from the seller and the tracking number dosnt exist. Time to call PayPal again I think. Lately Im really starting to dislike eBay in general. On the up side I got the quote for the Glass doors for my Display Cases today. A lot cheeper than I thought, so now Im going to be making another case for more Macross stuff.
