yup rain wind and now ice and icy fog ..... You dont want to know how many gallons of water we have had to pump out of my big fish pond because of the water being too high. we had over three inches of rain in one night for two night on the trot. our water butts are all full and over flowing. The stream at the bottom of our road is working again its not meant to flow any more as the waterspring has been redirected. If the weather guys say drought again this next summer I think they will get lynched. I do have some cool photos of the fog bank from yesterday though and my fish and Bonsai trees love the rain, sadly my car is not a big fan of the rain and prefers to sit it out. All this is great if you have a boat, which you nearly do.

I havent really played with them they are hollow so Im not sure they will hold up to much. If you taper them they would become hollow, so the only way I can see any use would be to fill them with apoxy resin like Dev Con first to give them strength. They should hold up to a bit of abuse, but if you use them on proper taka/Bandai nose cones they can be a bit loose as the holes are different. There is no swing bar connecting the two eaither. Basically use em with a boot nose cone to make it worth the bother.

Oh I was thinking that..... I have two Battletech figures (Stinger and Stinger Lam) painted like that. For those who dont know the Stinger was based/copied from the Vf1 Battloid and the Stinger Lam is basically The Vf1 Gerwalk.

I have quite a few of the normal heat sheilds in plastic. but nothing like the one for the VF-1D so if a head can be done and the heat sheild for the D dosnt exist I would consider maiking one and then offering it for casting. Obviously this is down to whether Chris would mind or if some one does an new sculpt.

While I know that new sculpts would be welcome unless someone can make a master or provide something that has previously been cast. Now if its something previously been made by another member and we look at recating it we must have the permission of the original owner. As is casting of any other parts (although Im sure Bandai might think differently) is a go-er. Fast pack armor is in the bag already so shouldnt be a problem. Guns and clips would be a good one Especialy the clips as everyone needs them. Missles would be cool (I have none). New hands mmmm I know of some gundam hands that will fit the bill, but again I dont have any. Yammie 1/48 hands could fit the bill I think. Clear canopies thats more of a vac form thing I think. I know someone who does that for a living (making RC car shells) If some one could come up with a mold master Im sure I could put my friend to work. Keep those ideas comming guys

Will if Im not mistaken I see a part of a 1/55 bootleg (the part that holds the wings on to the backplate). With that in mind you should be able to guess at the size. Im thinking somewhat shorter than a 1/55 but as wide in the chest area. kinda 1/55 with its limbs hacked off. Im sure KK can fill in the details
