Silverdragon has asked me to start this thread. As many of you will know he is a past master at the art of recasting. The Strike kits he has done the Super Ostrich the GBP need I say more. Recently I put to him that maybe he could cast some stuff that we all need. I said some heads for Vf-1J as I havent got any spare, some guns as a few of my valks are without them head lasers to replace the bent ones, many other parts could be redone too I mean how many of you have a missing or broken bit. One thing that could be doen as I know that many people have said they want them are thre clip in heat sheilds that sometimes pop up on eBay. I have some and would willingly send one over for the cloneing treatment. Please post your ideas and hopefully when SD gets back from his vacation well have a good list for him. Then we can work out the details and decide some sort of orders or somthing like that.

I think this has been asked before but i cant remember what the answer was. I therefore would like to know too. If you are SK or someone from BW please post and let us know at least that we are being observed.

LOL Shame as would have been great if they had finished the line. I for one would have jumped at a two seater or Elint. At least I have my 1/55 Super O and Elint. Maybe they could come to some fiscal agreement with John about his work on the 1D conversion at least the hard works almost done there.

You may have started something here. My work van got broken into today while I was working in London. I rushed out and caught them but they got away in their car. I gave the cops the plate number and descriptions and the Van was covered in prints, add to that the CCTV cameras that caught them on film. a good result you`d think only the cops are not interested. Meanwhile my van has a large hole in the door now. Luckly no Macross goodness was inside, for once. O.K Guys and Gals lock up your cars as theres something going round.

I have had a good look through all my material and cant find a Gerwalk mode Although I could have missed it still, or just dont have the right book etc.

I mean just take a look at everything from G1 onwards they all have faces you can say oh thats .... etc. The transformation looks fairly Binatlech so may be the toy wil be as good as a Binaltech, hopefully too in the same scale.

Go for it but remember it will take at least twice as long as you think to make it. Scratch building is harder than moding an existing kit or toy. Drawings and pictures are your friends scale is best. Get your self a good supply of building materials including model parts etc. A good cutting board a good set of knives and an exacto saw a small desktop modeling Vice also is a good accessory. Add to that the usual suspects like an engineers square and good quality draftsman marker pens and pencils an a roll or two of masking tape. Some or all of this you may well have. Eaither way good luck to you and dont forget to post your progress and qustions.

I think I paid £10 inc posting fo the Bandai Max kit and about £20 for the 3 figure ones ( a roy, a Hikaru with GBP and a Strike Hikaru, all are mint in box and have never been opened. Maybe I got a good deal.

Goo-Gone is some what similar to Lable Remover, a product we use in the A.V and stage industry. Smells really nice and just makes the sticky residue not sticky and fall off, on a cloth. Wont eat plastic or remove paints or even magic markers. I cleaned my whole set of flight cases with it. They were as good as new. I also cleaned off the old stickers on some of my G1 Transformers with no ill effects.
