Rounding off the 1/60 Mac+ VFs, is the VF-11b. I can imagine it being thought of as a very underrated design in comparison to its more well-known compatriots in the series, and probably still holds true today. Again, it is one of those valks whose Fighter mode just looks so 'right' to me with a very swoosh-able design. I don't know how much are the wings supposed to be tucked in for fast-mode. In the anime, they look to be swept back halfway (the somewhat early scene where Isamu chases after Guld to save him from crashing), but in the line-art, they tuck in fully.

We wants the Tread first. Come on, Sentinel.

Thanks for the compliment guys. It’s great the GNU-Dou exists, especially for the YF-21 to give us something more line-art accurate in Battroid. Just waiting for Bandai to release their 1/60 YF-21 now..

Seems quite a few of us are getting this for standalone purposes. They do look somewhat ridiculous on the 31AX.

That’s looking really brutal lol.. the v1 look to have pretty decent articulation. Ok I’m quite convinced now to get one.

Lol these days it appears the chunky is still quite alive. Fun pic btw

Ah got it. If not mistaken, so far the only Bandai VF-1 that came with stickers (or was it decals?) was Kakizaki’s. If the CF’s numbers are only on the tail fins, Bandai seem to be solving that problem with the complete set of swappable tail fins for the Angel Birds.
-
Never aware there were aircraft numbers on the CFs for TV & DYRL VF-1, at least not seeing those on the Yammie 1/60. Where would their numbers be?

It's raining Voltron these past couple of years lol.. Still, the one which I did put down a PO for sometime back, was Icarus Toy's reissue version. Too bad it got cancelled entirely.

Even though it hasn't been up for PO, I keep flip-flopping on MoShow's interpretation on whether I would want one. I appreciate MoShow daring to do something different, but Sentinel already has that covered with their complete basic line-up of Ride-Armor releases. The very Gundam-ish proportions doesn't endear either. Despite MoShow's debatable design choices, if Sentinel didn't already release theirs, I'd be easily on board with MoShow's, similar to Fewture's M23 Garland just for something a bit different.

Sometimes I wonder if it would be worth getting just a Yamato v1, mostly for historical reasons. I nearly pulled the trigger on the Super Ostrich a few times, to double as filling the 1/60 hole in the collection. I hope Arcadia announces this for their next 1/60 VF-1 release.

I can relate with @Scyla. Although I'm not using Ikea Samlas, certain other plastic boxes do have lids that deforms rather easily with weight when stacked. Sometimes managing the boxes is as involving as managing the actual toy displays. It's astonishing how much spaces at home can diminish VERY quickly with a toy collection lol..
-
I skipped all the Tiny Sessions so far, but I would make an exception for this. The valk face kinda better suit the whole SD concept IMHO lol..
-
Yeahh looking at the pattern of Bandai releases, they are really loath to complete a line, don't they? I'm not surprised if they start a totally new line / scale, with the first release being the missing variant from the previous line-up..
-
It’ll be great if this new Orguss kit scale with other VF-1 kits to sort of kitbash them together.

Arcadia Hargun appear to be progressing very slowly... Meanwhile, although Arcadia Garlands have superseded the Yammies in terms of build & engineering, the Yammies still display very well, with colors & nice options not available to the Arcadias so far. I'm pretty happy I got this Factory color version.- 818 replies

I agree, because there are so many loadout options for this 31AX, it makes sense to reissue it. And the loadout options so far only have been done for Hayate's and not Mirage's or Bogue's. If I have gotten the Armor parts, I would likely bite on this re-issue.

I am seeing list price Yen 30,904 shipped & sold by Amazon JP themselves. But Amazon JP is sometimes funny like that; shows different results based on one's location.

Thanks @no3Ljm. Yeah the extra packs are really difficult to come by. I'm still looking for the VF-11B armor pack. The YF-19 is the least articulated of the trio, and really need the parts to bring out its dynamism. That said, the chest replacement part for YF-19 has its faults. The chest ball joint in the extra part is too small, so the whole upper chest becomes too loose. Easily fixable though, with any coating material to thicken it up (I just wrap the ball with some tape).

What @PsYcHoDyNaMiX said. Some Jap stores list Tamashii exclusives, but the main ones like HLJ & Amiami don’t. Try using proxies like Buyee or FromJapan. If using proxy, you’ll still need to provide the buying page link to them. Up until fairly recently, we outside Japan could still view the buying page (although we can’t purchase directly), but now the page will not even show unless using a VPN or other browser extensions. Still, I linked other preceding pages which has links to the actual buying page to my proxy, & naturally they could follow it through to purchase: https://tamashiiweb.com/item/14235/?wovn=en

You have up to 05 February to put in the PO. Tamashii exclusive quantities are made-to-order. PO window remains open until a set closing date, or the set limit is reached. If the set limit is reached very quickly, Bandai usually opens another PO window the following week or so, for a new batch with a new delivery date. This is what happened for the 1/48 Strike packs. The initial batch sold out within a few days, and on following week Bandai re-opened PO for new batch for delivery a month or two after that initial batch.
