  1. Nice custom schemes! Always love it when a VF-1 is done in F-14 schemes. Are the decals from the Hasegawa kit?
  2. I’m hoping the delay to Mirage’s AX release is due to Bandai implementing fixes.
  3. Although these have no articulation, these small 1/200 are quite fun to play with..
  4. Scored a set of Yamato 1/200 Macross VFC Series 2. Like the Series 1 which have the VA-3M Invader set, I got this mainly for the VF-9 Cutlass, both of which I understand to be the only toy representations of them (thanks again to @jenius blog). Gotta say I’m pretty impressed with how Yamato approached small, trading-class figures back in the day, including their other non-Macross IPs such as BGC & Cowboy Bebop. The sculpt on them are pretty sharp, with good paint work & quality plastic as compared to other trading figures of its time. On these VFC sets, one downside are the huge, bright UN space logos on the stands. Visually, the logos tend to overwhelm the figures themselves if more than a few of them are displayed together. Also had a CM’s 1/48 Dark Legioss arrive, which will complement the Drone version I received few months ago. Intend for both to be background companion pieces to the modern Sentinel Legiosses.
  5. Arcadia's Army Garland showed up at my door today.. Box art is simple but I do like it.. Here are the contents. Full sized Shinji, for the first time in his civvy clothes as rider on Bike mode, and half sized Shinji/soldier in suit & helmet for Slave mode.. I guess there's still very much value in keeping the older Yamato's Army Garland, since that is the only way to have a full sized rider in combat suit & helmet, plus the 2 extra Yui figures.. Unfortunately, Shinji's face suffers from the same affliction as the Proto Garland figures: unpainted eyes.. Still, the figure looks nice on the bike. When Arcadia switched to fixed pose figures, in concept I thought it was a step backwards compared to Yamato's articulated ones. But now, I think I prefer these fixed pose ones as they are much easier to get them on & off the bike, especially when the Yamato ones were in execution pretty awful due to their very fragile joints. Shinji here still has some head articulation though, his head being on a ball joint.. Leaving it in Bike mode for now.. Bring on the Hargun Arcadia!
  6. Finally got this in my hands, Arcadia’s Garland Army color version.
  7. Was expecting the ThreeZero Voltron size to be smaller, but at 27cm, it appears to go directly against the SOC. However, the pricing is also in the same range which makes it somewhat more pricey than expected, as the Robo-Dou line has always been a fair bit lower than Japanese counterparts for figures of similar quality.
  8. They used to do it, but they have changed their policy about a year ago that they will no longer do so..
  9. Ha so its GR-2 & Wilde Sau after the Hargun.. Part of me wishes they do the E=X Garland next, but these other rare ones are also welcome!
  10. It looks like it does. And the lions have hidden legs like Blitzway's.. I don't know enough about ThreeZero, but them moving into transformables like Dancouga & now Voltron look like a recent thing? These will be good gauge on what their VF-1 will be like in terms of tolerances, fit etc..
  11. I like this Mocha, but I skipped the PO because the price seemed to have jumped significantly (something like 40%?) for what is mostly a repaint. Might cave in eventually, really like its paint scheme..
  12. I was slowly getting hyped up for these newest version of KC VF-1s as they were being posted up for PO/sale over the past few weeks... I thought the paint and panel lines were the main thing going for it, and it would be a nice line to collect with their Regult and the upcoming announced destroids. But so far, I only managed to PO v2 Roy's VF-1S, and I think it will stay that way for now because I recall ThreeZero are making their own 1/72 VF-1 too..
  13. The thumbnails that were previously not linked to anything are now working. As for some thumbnails that were not showing up at all previously, I isolated it to my network issue. It is no wonder then, whichever device or OS I tried previously on same network, those thumbnails just refuse to show. Everything worked when I switched to different network.
  14. Responded in other tread: https://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/topic/49791-anymooncom/?do=findComment&comment=1611544
  15. Hi @jenius, just want to report, quite a few pics in your pages appear to be broken. For example, in the Bandai DX VF-1 page: Bandai DX VF-1 Toys – Scorched Earth Toys (anymoon.com) some of the pics are not loading up; they are just showing white boxes, and for the white boxes that are clickable it leads to page saying 'Sorry, the parameters you provided were not valid'. I also notice, for quite a few pictures that do show on screen, they are no longer clickable for an enlarged version. I'm thinking it could be my browser issue, but I've tried on 3 different devices and they came back with same results.. But meanwhile, echo-ing everyone else here: your site is the best & invaluable resource for all the Macross & other classic toys!

    Arcadia VF-5000G

Was just about to say Arcadia could have done the VF-19A when they re-issued the YF-19, but having to cast in the same base colors as a pre-requisite prevented them from doing so, makes sense I guess. Arcadia did re-issue the red Garland & did the Army Garland recently at the same time, and look to be the same production run. But this is because the Garland is fully painted like the KC VF-1s..
  17. Quite a bummer to see the backpack on this new version to be raised by quite a bit. But now I'm looking across at the Bandai DX in my room, and Bandai's also have the backpack raised to about the same level. Yamcadia v2 backpack is somewhere between both in terms of height. It does look that much more jarring for KC, because they have just about the lowest backpack in their v1, therefore the most line art accurate in that section, to now probably the highest. I would insert some of the pics from @jenius website to illustrate, but somehow there appear to be lots of broken pic links today. Not sure if its my browser.. I'm thinking, will KC's higher backpack now allow for the arms to be raised higher, therefore allowing for more clearance for the gunpod with the landing gear down? All their previous versions have the gunpod dragging on the ground..
  18. Something he said in the video: the whole toy is painted. Does that mean even the base white is paint? I have the v1 Dark Gold, and the base black look almost certainly to be colour moulded.
  19. Gonna have a hard time deciding how many copies of Tlead to get to go with the existing Legiosses for display. Not only they individually have 3 modes, they also have 3 combined modes..
  20. Thanks for the info. Interesting that the mock-ups are first being done at a much larger scale for the Arcadia Garlands, and this must be quite an exception as I don't seem to recall it being done for other toylines..
