  1. Been waiting for Amazon JP listing, as they have always offered the best price for the ride armors. Gotta remember to always take 10% off the listed price for domestic tax, though I understand they add it back for certain areas Stateside? But even with 10% off, this time HLJ appears to be the cheapest. PO window appear to remain open for a long time, till August.
  2. I liked how the fabric looked on the recently released Rick, but here it looks just terrible. Perhaps its the color.. I actually PO-ed with KC for 2 units, so I can display one with armor and one without. Now am considering cancelling one.

The price though . The Alpha Omega Sheryl Nome Gorgeous ver. now look like bargain in comparison. But good for anyone getting this.
  4. Trying to wean off the Macross Multiple Valk Syndrome.
  5. Liking the looks of these Ghosts more now, even if won’t be bringing myself to mount it on the 31AX. Tempted to order another set haha..
  6. Sorry to hear of that experience @Anasazi37. Really blows to receive packages like that, showing obvious mishandling by the courier.
  7. MSRP Yen 23,000 before tax; a 15% increase from previous ride-armors. The pics do not show, and listings doesn't mention a separate helmetless head. Here's a previously unreleased pic of bike & drone from the PO pages.. where are the exhaust pipes again? Dang I'm so fixated on that

So many whites lol.. all we need now is a version of white that’s pinkish like Arcadia Still, it’s not only if the white of the standalone HMR 1J will match the rest of upcoming Vermillion team, but the cockpit tints greatly differ as well. The standalone 1J has a very blue cockpit tint, as opposed to grey/black, so it will stick out like a sore thumb if intend to display the whole team in Fighter together.

  10. I haven’t tried them yet. But they appear to be very transparent throughout the whole order process, & even informs you on what would normally be behind-the-scenes processes between vendor & manufacturer.

Someone just posted links in the PO tread, to huge discounts for the Arcadia VF-1 Milia & Max PFs. Such great value in the backdrop of this new HMR VF-1 pricing lol..
  12. The actual P-Bandai purchase page is geofenced to JP IPs only. You have to use a proxy to buy, or selected web stores that carry it at a mark-up like Anime Export or Nin-Nin.

Ah good thing it's not a bundle release forcing Hikaru 1J in.. It's as good as can be hoped for the releases to be separate. One slight peeve is that these new 'revival' HMR VF-1 could do with further forward angle on their legs / feet in Gerwalk, just like the DX or even Arcadia's 1/60 to allow for more aggressive A-stance.

Hmm all 3 to be revealed together? High chance it will be a 3-pack set.. Although, do I need yet another Hikaru 1J? Where’s the Tomahawk + Phalanx dual pack set, Bandai?
  15. Thanks for the info @no3Ljm. I somehow missed that bit in that tread..
  16. Need a bigger diorama space..
  17. At first I thought that Fire Bomber crate at the back is some new packaging for the valk, but the tweet specifically mentions it’s made by another party. I wonder if it’s made by Groove Garage & if it’s worth getting one..
  18. Yeah TruForce really wasted opportunity to have not gone with other armors. A Zero would be great. They really have a winner with this Mega Man X. The engineering is pretty awesome, lots of articulation with old-school gokin weight in hand. On one hand I’m a bit bummed to have only discovered this relatively recently, thereby missing out on the 3 other gorgeous limited repaints, but on other hand I’m thankful to have at least the X without paying aftermarket premium. I’m happy if they could somehow release those limited repaints again, let alone other armors.
  19. Got the recent re-issue of TruForce Megaman. This thing is pretty amazing, and well worth the price especially when every other toy has rocketed upwards in price recently.. Someday hope to pick up the Riobot Megaman in Falcon armor to match it.
  20. Ok I see what you mean now on the drone. Naturally then I'm wondering where are the exhausts..
  21. Why is there a transparent cowling piece on the back covering the exhaust? If that is an exhaust outlet..
  22. Great you found the root cause for the nosecone gap @Lolicon Whether it is due to the new matte formulation, the generally tighter fit or both, the plastic on the revivals qualitatively feels more tactile and stronger - although both revivals and renewals weight the same. I very much hope it is stronger though, as beyond the loose joints of the renewals (easily fixable), the other more serious issue is the cracking of the hinge that holds the upper and lower torso in Battroid together (the hinge between the intakes in Fighter). It seems the plastic for this joint rot over time and gives out even if there is no tension on being in Fighter mode.
  23. LOL are the Q-Rau-looking pods sprouting from her back or sits on top of her head? For some reason, from that angle it reminds me of Queen Armidala. Still, I like this quirky design though.
  24. It just so happens I got my VF-25F Revival in yesterday, and this after handling the renewal VF-25S recently. The nosecone gap issue is definitely still present though. The pics on the box itself shows the gap pretty clearly, but at end of the day it's not really that bothersome, just conspicuous when u put it side by side with the renewals. Great that your copy has no issues on that front , so perhaps it is not something that affects every copy. For the gunpod in Fighter, it was based on earlier 25 WWM reports on one of the arm tabs not properly fitting into the gun handle slot, and I incorrectly surmised it would affect display in that mode. I tried it myself on the Revival 25F, and whilst it appears to retain the ill-fit on one of the arms, the gun can still be angled very much straight; just that the affected arm will be ever so slightly rotated, as @Halfstep experienced above. Again, this is something not very noticeable visually as the arms are mostly blocked by the gunpod. So far, I would say these 'defects' in Fighter are not really big deals because you do find certain other gaps here and there that were also present in the renewals that were characteristic of Bandai Macross molds of that era. However, most of the movable bits in Fighter (haven't transformed my copies yet) for the revivals are definitely much stiffer than the older renewals. The firmer snapping of the wing roots to the legs, the much-reduced slack between each position of the wings' swing angles, the stiffer cockpit opening/closing motion & its tighter fit - every part appear to have been made a tiny hair's width thicker. As I'm typing this, the thought crossed my mind that, if we assume both renewals and revivals came out at same time, it is as if Bandai KO'ed one of their own mold of the other. I don't have a Valkyrie Factory VF-1 KO, but from the reviews of them, the varying differences of tolerances compared to Yamcadia originals sounds like the kind of differences we are hearing of the Renewals vs Revivals today.
