  1. I prefer sh figuarts over figma, but figma does a few things figuarts doesn't like Guyver, and Tekaman, Attack on Titan and others. I guess for me it depends on if they are doing a figure of the same thing like iron man I go for the figuarts.
  2. Just finished the series last night. I thought it was a real homage to 80's films from the title logo to the simple keyboard music and even the pacing. It was filmed very well and had a bit of an old school Stephen King meets E.T. feel. I also love the time it takes place, with the ease of buying bullets, goofy hair, giant walkie talkies with almost no real range, and people being limited to the length of phone cord, not to mention being proud of a 22inch tv and smoking wherever.
  3. They were small, but some of those f90/91 kits were super small for 1/100 before the mg kits became big. I think it was the guntank from then that wasn't much bigger than the average 1/144 kit even though it was 1/100. I think the victory mg was a smaller mg, but I might be wrong.
  4. He's looking good so far
  5. The greatest thing about the original was the soundtrack. The movie was kinda crappy, but love able then that rockin guitar starts up and it's epic. I don't know what they could do now. I haven't heard a great memorable moving soundtrack in a very long time.
  6. Paint is always better than stickering. Then again most things are better than stickers.

Unless you can reinforce it somehow the jb weld will just snap on a piece that thin. A printed piece would probably work as long as the ball isn't too tight in the socket and the replacement material is tight enough.
  8. I heard about the China ban and was thinking that if ticket sales are bad they can't save this film like with Warcraft.
  9. If you're going to need to hand brush parts with tamiya you kinda need to plan ahead. When you get the color before thinning you need to set aside a bit to thin with water if you use their thinner (x20 I believe) when hand brushing takes away paint with every stroke. Their thinner works good in airbrushing though and helps prevent gumming up the system. But even when using tamiya thinned with water there is still traces of their thinner in the paint so it can still be a bit tedious. The best hand brushing paint I've used is the games workshop brand for miniatures, but it works like crap in an airbrush.
  10. I actually prefer the figma guyver to the old maxfactory version. The old one does look great in the box, but it had a lot of loose pieces and parts that would just fall off, like the shoulder armor. The figma is a miniaturized version with tighter pieces and a connector for the shoulder armor and just as much if not more articulation.
  11. I wouldn't mind a kit of the flying taco truck. I hope it comes with a sound effect for the mariachi music😋
  12. I really love the figma guyver. It's very detailed and has a lot of parts with a flexible ruber material that give it a very organic creepy feel. I hope we get more than just the female.
  13. I'm sure the plan is to have a battroid kit to go with the fighter to make the gerwalk on all releases otherwise they probably wouldn't do the fighter in the first place.
  14. Nice review on the fighter. It looks really great. Anyone got a review for the battroid?
  15. I accidentally checked this thread thinking it said legios. Any way that ghostbusters set looks cool
  16. I'd have to hear some good reviews before even being interested, especially after the negativity over their previous offerings.
  17. You could try an Amazon search for revan. If it's out someone will have it for a crazy markup, then you can try more reasonable sellers.
  18. They were talking about pedophiles taking advantage of these hotspots to kidnap kids. And even cell phone theives taking advantage.
  19. The new bench mark, since it's not as good as the original will be "is it better than Ghostbusters 2?"
  20. I just got the local type and I don't think any of it's mold can be used for a standard ground type. The gun is bigger, the shoulders, and chest are similar but still too different to reuse. The legs and joints are also different even the ammo clips are bigger. Although a revive of the 79g would be nice or a msd gm.
  21. If you treat it as a model and not a toy I think it's great for the money. It looks a lot better with fast packs, but the wings really get weighed down by missiles. Any way gatsu it looks great, were you still planning to do something about the canopy.
  22. We had a problem with this Sunday night. I was working late and it turns out the walkway in front of the office is a major hotspot for this. At one in the morning more than eight cars crowded a parking area meant for only five and there were over thirty people of ages ranging from five to over forty. And the group was a chaotic mix of nerds, thugs and bums. Some of them looked totally harmless and others had that look like they had killed before. As soon as security would kick people out another group would show up from out of nowhere. And every group looked totally different from the last with whole families driving up to scuzzy weirdos riding up on bikes.
  23. That new weapon pack has open hands for the new Barbatos. I just hope they start putting in hands for the rest of the IBO line with weapon sets, if they won't put them in the kits.
