    Wow! This is annoying. I just went on to hobby search and under their gundam kits section, there are no gundam kits. I like using their site to check out their instructions on kits sometimes. This is an odd decision. I guess maybe Bandai plans to bump up the supply to the U.S.

    Thinking a bout the super vf1 set. The super vf1a battroid and the fighter and Gerwalk to go with it. Maybe that weapons set to go with it

    I actually watched this and didn’t know the title. It was pretty depressing mostly. Had to watch something a bit more light hearted afterwards

    Everything took a long hiatus. They did the second season and everything went into lockdown. I’m just glad that a good chunk of the shows I like are finally coming back

    Our Flag Means Death is pretty good so far. More of a chuckle than laugh out loud, but it’s fun nonetheless

    Did Char ever use that thing on his hip as a weapon? I remember him using small handguns and a mini version of the dom bazooka. I actually wasn’t sure if that was supposed to just be a fancy pointer.

    Toys and model kits have really come a long way since I was a kid. The idea of putting a full cloth outfit on a six inch figure is not something I would have thought of. There have been a few lately and it’s definitely interesting to see.

    I really only played the first 2 games, but they were great times. And the story worked out in gameplay. I totally get having to change things a bit. I don’t have that particular streaming service, but if I did I would probably check it out

    Yeah, sorry that was actually up for quite a while. The popular items often get rereleases though, like that Vayeate/ Mercurious pack. So keep your eyes open or maybe have them give you notifications. Bbts May have it up for a slight markup. They seem to be pretty good at getting the exclusives

    That Luke Cage cliffhanger series ending was the best when I thought there was gonna be a new season. Then it quickly became the worst thing ever. They totally ended the show with him seeming like he just went evil, and that was it. Iron fist was finally getting good and I’d have loved more of the rest

    I didn’t really like most of those characters. They were mostly boring, with the exception of k2so. As long as he’s there to keep the show from being a boring snooze, I’ll watch it

    That’s a pretty good example. Now you can show her some of the delta stuff and get her into the whole idol aspect of macross and some of those kits. Then eventually she’ll see a regult and think it’s a super cute walking egg and then she’s hooked. The downside will be that you’re gonna need at least 2 of every kit

    Sd kits and toys don’t really do it for me either. I do think they have a roll in increasing the popularity of a franchise. There’s also that whole attempt at trying to get your girlfriend into your hobby, when she’s not into models, so you try something odd like getting her a hello kitty gundam kit and hoping that changes her mind. I guess they can be used as a gateway drug to the hardcore crack that is mecha modeling building

    Nice work on updating that old sdf1. and I have a feeling a lot of the crusher joe projects are due to the recent attention to the franchise by hasegawa. Lots of busy people on here

    I think video games aren’t meant to become movies in most cases. You might be able to do something cool with an rpg, but that might work out better for a series. I was trying to imagine how cool a metroid film could be. Either the main character doesn’t talk or just has a generic roboty voice, has to defeat certain enemies and get useful gear until after defeating the final boss. Then a quick after scene of Sami’s lounging in a bikini sipping margaritas. One of the best movies I saw that felt like a video game, but wasn’t was Apocalypto. There are subtitles, but the dialogue doesn’t even matter, visually it tells the whole story and it’s mostly a side scroller

    So oddly enough I wanted to just find that scene on YouTube about the Zentraedi factory since you had a comment about their tech and your video was only a few spots down from the top of that search coincidentally. At first I wasn’t sure if it was yours, but those weathering patterns were so distinct. And even though you think the video was dark, I think it really showed off that lighting gimmick. And the magnetic swap out for the missile parts was a really cool addition. I loved hearing that click when the parts went into place

    One odd thing from this conflict is that there’s a lot of reference material for what battle damage looks like for model builders

    They did sell out pretty well on preorder and if they did an overseas release than many of us here in the U.S. would have a better chance at them and of course the ease of buying from a stateside store would be good advertisement over here for the real deal rather than the Robotech toys

    The 80’s has some great themes. I think more shows these days need them. Modern tv and movie music seems so forgettable
