The Beagle looks awesome but not US$600 awesome. Some shots of the MH with the leftover parts (front shocks and handles… and the head) attached to the back. Also of the CM in the Bandai action stand II. The CM looks great. I hardly notice all the screws it has (just the ones on the boxes). The bad thing is that transforming can be a bit irritating. Bike mode is fiddly whereas the MH not (too bad since the CM looks a lot better in this mode than the MH). The MH kinda let me down at first. The mate finish looks nice but for some reason I don’t like how the paint feels in my fingers. Transformation is a Lego explosion (even of parts that shouldn’t be remove pop off) and you only feel everything is tight in bike mode. Can’t get it to stand either, the thing is incredibly back heavy. The face is awesome though. I like em but I don’t have a clear favourite. The MH didn’t reach my high expectations whereas the CM exceeded my low expectations.

I'm still waiting for the invoice from Toyntoys, but since they are in Singapore I guess I'll still have to wait. So far I like what I see. From what Alex says, I wish the Legioss fighter mode was tighter but maybe it can be fixed. These babies are going to get a panel lining when they arrive; parts look like blue blobs when they are actually full of detail (you can see some of it in some of the Tread pics).

Same here!

Well, thanks for trying anyways Rob And I guess I've just been yamatoed by Yamato's retarded marketing department... gee, thanks Yamato!! Thanks for making widely available such a boring 25th anniversary VF-1S that even included spelling errors tampo printed on and then incredibly limiting something that actually looked good (and that would have made you more money)! Whatever. I’m really tired of all the “limited” bu11shit in collecting. Guess the positive side is that I’m rethinking continuing in this dumb hobby.

Speaking of Pixar, how were Cars and Ratatowahtever? The Incredibles was fantastic but now I remember that Monster and Nemo were kinda boring IMO, very pretty looking but boring. I'm really loosing track of animated movies since most just concentrate on the kids and the winks to grownups are more far between.

1/60 perfect transforming vf-1 from yamato?
Twoducks replied to Shaggydog's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Does anybody else find the proportions on the upper torso of the 1/60 kinda weird compared to the 1/48 in that pic? -
Saw a poster of it a few weeks ago. Thought it looked a lot like Johnny Five from Short Circuit (which I love). Didn't know it was from Pixar, so that is a good plus. While seeing the first part of the trailer I felt like I really wanted to see it, but man, the second half gives enough plot away that I can visualize the whole movie now. I just can't see trailers these days

Nice find chowyunskinny! The comparison pic is great. Nice to see that the Tomahawk won't take up much room. The new 1/60 VF-1S proportions look kinda weird though.

Another Black Serena gallery: http://gamu-toys.info/goukin/gouki/spec/spec05/spec05.html http://gamu-toys.info/goukin/gouki/spec/spec05/spec051.html I decided to cancel this one. There's just too much good stuff coming out now or in the near future that beats it in my book.

Call me interested! BTW, were did the "Thunder Hammer" design pop from? Is it one of those fan made things that appear in Japanese hobby magazines?

CM's webpage talks about "Scheduled to start from mid-April shipment", so we'll see the blue one first... just a few more days, damn the wait

Finally!!

Can't wait to pose the Tread in "gerwalk/guardian" attached to the fighter like in the box art And thanks to Rob/samurai-monkey I'll also be getting a green one. Now if Toynami does a red Tread I can pick one up along with a Rook and have all the gang.

In an off topic flame war, you get sucked into the Tezuka Zone: http://youtube.com/watch?v=a5CH_y_AuxI There. We've all been "Owned!!!11" (along with millions of years of evolution). End of story. What I want to know is how much new tampo this thing has. Can you share any info SaveRobotech?

Nitpicking about the Bandai staff showing up in Gundam uniforms is like complaining about cops, nurses, soldiers... wearing their uniform while working. That’s their uniform. Über weird but that’s what they wear at the office. Don't now of its obligatory or if they get extra pay for doing so but I've seen other videos and images of Bandai staff with the Gundam uniforms in their workplace before. How the hell could Kawamori himself feel displeased when he is also part of Gundam history? Let’s not forget that he designed the two main Gundams of 0083 Stardust Memory and has done other work for Bandai. And Macross 7's toys may have sucked... but so did almost every other toy Bandai made at the time, including Gundam. You just can’t compare their old stuff with the complex toys they do now. Bandai and other companies have come a long way in just a few years, just look how incredibly crappy the old Yamato M+ valks look compared to the new ones. The SOC line started in 1997 and they have come a long way since them; from just action figure made of metal to wonders of engineering like the Gunbuster, Ideon of the upcoming Godmarz. Same way their current Gundam kits completely blow away the stuff they did just 5 years ago. Looking back at all the recent progress in toy making, landing on the DX Chogokin line means we are going to have a very well engineered toy.

Oooh, thanks for those comparison pics Dante74!

I'm sooo getting the Super HCM-Pro Char Zaku.
-
Did they tampo anything new on the valk (markings, no step signs...)?
-
Is the visor blue or purple? Can it be opened?
-
I think it's the green foot you see next to the Yellow ride armor (SaveRobotech said they used a green Legioss body as the basis). You can see what looks like a different type of gun.

I like both Revo and Yamato's take on the YF-21. Since they are cheap I might get both; I could repaint/custom one into a Max 22. For the 19 I like the Revo better for now. Graham, will the first release of the GNU line come with fast packs or are we going to have to wait?

Hell yeah! Wish Yamato had gone clear stand for the Nora. -
Isn't the visual effects category supposed to award good looking stuff, not crappy polar bear CG? Come on, Pirates and TF loosing to that thing What happened to the big plane robot toy from the new TF animated series? Laugnaugh or something. Haven't seen pictures of it since the old protos.
