I appreciate DnD's point of view. Sometimes it seems we buy this stuff without a second thought and when we have it we want the next one, and then the next one, and then the next one... And this does not have to to with them being expensive. Cheap or costly, we are always waiting for the next one... At first I though I would be satisfied with a good looking VF-1. Now I have a closed full of different toys and yet I want to get more. I mean WHEN is it enough? What would "complete" ones Macross/whatever collection?

Thanks! Never thought the phase "sleeping on the couch for a month" could be represented in the physical world as a solid object. In my case it's mostly out of iconic nostalgia. First SDF-1 I saw as a kid was the one with the cartoony scheme. The DYRL? certainly looks more imposing and cool. The battleship arms certainly beat the fly swatter hands in my book though.

Where the Aoshima Legioss priced lower than the MPC Alphas? I'm saying this because I don't know if it would be better to wait for a Aoshima Tread. Also: has anybody tried to link a CM Legioss to the MP Beta?

This also means that it's more profitable for Yamato to release a whole bunch of VF-1 variants than to make a Super Nova YF-19 or any other variant of other valks. Guess the smaller size of the VF-1 1/60 makes things cheaper too

My Alto is perfect. It did have a tight left shoulder but I've managed to loose it up a bit.

NEVER have I had a problem with stuff shipped from Japan or China with SAL (and I'm talking about a LOT of crap ). And it arrives in two weeks like clockwork. I've ordered from Overdrive before; they have great prices and great feedback. But the external extra added from the shipping plus the custom fees (that are more easily avoidable with SAL) sometimes make me think twice about ordering from them.

I really, really wish Overdrive would offer SAL shipping. At least up to a certain value like HLJ does. I big "I ACCEPT THE RISK" on the order form would protect Overdrive form any angry customer. Really, EMS is nice and all but 4 out of 5 times I get stuff held at customs longer than it takes SAL to arrive... not to mention the extra fees the "friendly" workers there apply to my stuff.

Well, I thought I was just going to get a black VF-1S so for me it's a nice surprise Now the box just has to arrive. Nice pic of the 21 towering over the smaller valks. The VF-9 looks a bit gummy though. Hope it's just the flash.

Wow, has this thread grown!! Good to read the Toynami Beta doesn't explode. CM's robot mode beats it hands down in my book but the link up mode belongs to the Toynami. Jenius, or anybody else,: how does the CM Alpha look attached to the Toynami Beta? Can it be done? Now for the other part of this thread: That Beagle looks AWESOME! The only thing that makes it loose points for me are the tiny shoes and the head sculpts (both Toynami and Beagle). The Megahouse did a better job on capturing Stick and Rey/Ley. Just an excuse to hold off getting one... for now. Any news of Beagle/Toynami committing to produce Lancer and Rook? The idea of the full cast could push my wallet over the edge right now

Three different product lines for a single series (plus gasapons, statues and a VF-25 for the new Robot Damashii line) show that at least MF is getting a lot of love.

Wow, the PG line really is alive! Two years ago I would have forked the money in a minute. Now I don't know. The PG Strike was really fun to build but the Astray better have some good gimmicks. Todays MG kits are incredible and a lot cheaper.

Is that a good price? Wish Overdrive had a SAL shipping option

Quick question: Could you use a pair of MG hands or the leftover hands of a Vf-0 to subtitute the karate chop hands used for the fighter mode of the Vf-25? Even if they sacked a little in plane mode, we could have articulated hands.
