I was begining to loose hope for the VF 100 line (meh VF-25's after another) and then BOMBAAA! Glad I skipped the "exclusive" DX fast packs... and I'll skip this one too; Luca's FP don't look that bad on my Alto. I do think the new colors could look nice though. Very interested on the Monster (think Yamato could have anything to do with it?)

You were right Shin Densetsu, deluxe Skids really is a good buy! It's transformation is really fun and yet complex in it's own little way. Voyager SS is also a nice surprise; bot mode is still way off but the transformation is so original that you end up really liking the toy. I think that (love them or hate them) the Bayformer designs have introduced new ways to design TF toys. The Hollywood guys pitched a difficult one to the toy designers. Some of them are a complete miss, like Leader Jetfire, while others are pure win, like HA Bumblebee or L Prime. It's good that the designers get challenged.

While you simpletons make fun of this Hollywood escapade I'm off to procure the right of every Atari 2600 game there is. When Hollywood decides to make Activision's Skiing: THE MOVIE they'll have to pay me big bucks for the rights.

The old woman looks rather stiff, but since robot engineering reeks of geekness I vote the young girl: No geek would make his robot girlfriend look like an old woman.

I see they also skipped the grey colored nipple guards from the proto and the line art. Now they’re the same color as the fuselage, like in the 21.

Listen to what the others say. I have the DX Alto, Luca and a VF-11B... the VF-11B wins by a long shot.

It also looks like Yamato cheaped out on some of the markings we saw on the proto: the tail fins are missing a white line and the engines had some writing that is also missing in the finished product. The VF-1’s have tons of tampo, why not a VF that has next to none? Definitely darker than I thought (yes, I know that is more anime correct)

I really need to know if the final product is as dark as it looks in the Hobby Search pics. I liked the brighter tones fron the proto.

The first TF movie had a silly plot but kept it simple. And that is why I thing a lot of people enjoyed it. Now the new one has another silly plot… but they complicate things. TF1 can be described by “the search for the all spark!” and just that. But now we get new things popping up all the time; we start with “the all spark lives again!” that then turns into “the secret of the symbols!”, to “the search for the ancient transformers!”, to “the hunt for the matrix!” and then “destroy the sun eater!”. There is no clear mayor plot device. How can a brain disconnect when you throw so much information at it? All this with Jesus Prime and Jesus Megatron, the military being pestered by evil pencil pushers, dog humping, Sam’s personal life, dog humping, a guy named Mr Fallen, and then some more humping… All those changes in direction, so much going around, the movie being so long and the giant plot holes made my brain get out of it’s middles eye candy joy ride more than it should have during the whole film. Still, dorky things like Prime’s action scenes, the Starscream-Megatron relation, Ravage in action or Sounwave did save the experience for me and made me have some fun in what really is a horribly stupid movie. Nowhere near the amount of fun I was expecting (40+ robots my ass, Devastator’s combined mode being a vacuum cleaner, and so on…) but fun still.

Picked up the little deluxe RC robot. Bot mode isn't what you would call exactly "pretty" but the transformation is really fun and you get a great looking RC truck. Is deluxe Skids a good buy? I didn't give a crap for the character in the movie but I like the car used for alt mode. The little toy looked so cute there hanging in front of me. Any info on when the Human Alliance Skids hits the streets?

The three or so constant shots with the chihuahua porking things few minutes into the movie were like a foreboding thought for me that said “crap, I’m not going to enjoy this like I did the first movie”. I also thought at first, like Save and Renato, that Prime seemed like a bloodthirsty killer. I guess that you can justify his action by how the unicycle-con killed bystanders recklessly on his escape and when pinned down didn’t ask for mercy (like the G1 Megatron did in the cartoon movie), just talked about the fallen kicking ass. In the comics the Primes were the first beings the all spark created. Then, since the cube needed to recharge, it gave the Primes the first Transformers. The Primes used them to seek new suns since they could transform into space ships and construction machines.

Never convicted and it always stank from the side of the parents and the media circus so I'll leave it at him being a weirdo man-child celebrety. Still, the weirdo man-child has left a mark on popular culture very difficult to top. And I'm more outraged at all the bastards that have put us in the current world economic situation, that live happily in their impenetrable castles and of whom I won't even get to know their names, much less their faces. THOSE have really hurt/killed millions of people, THOSE deserve a good hell raping, not a public figure elevated to legend when he clearly wasn’t mentally fit to handle it and whose biggest sin was being accused of touching some boys by a media circus and some parents who were really quick to shut up once a few bucks were flashed.

Wish this turns out to be false. Mighty big musical legacy Michael leaves behind. Hope his kids fall in good hands. And poor Farrah. Three years fighting f* cancer.

My theater on the other hand must have been bored out off their skulls since the only thing that caused a reaction was the and the ... which isn't bad per se but even if the movie is f* long there are better moments in this film. Good thing I came to see this with my brother (boring audiences make the experience duller).

Liked the movie but not as much as the first. Felt long and the whole Fallen plot is kinda meh. Do get Leader Prime. I have him next to the first Leader Prime... while I like Leader 1.0, the amount of detail and complexity of Leader 2.0 puts the first one to shame big time.

The fanmodes are very cool but I'm going with Fanproject's add on. Combo mode looks bad ass and the extra parts even form fast packs and a radome for the fighters.

Damn, those constructicons look like fun! Feeling itchy on the wallet each time I these two. In person the vehicle modes look so good that they kinda make up for the robot modes.
