Thanks! I really wanted to see a behind the scenes look. Watching Cameron’s virtual camera in action was great.

Wow, wow, wow! This one sure looks like a winner (heck, those galleries make me want to order another one). Compared to the original VF-25 100, this one is virtually PT! Now, sound booster as web shop exclusive is a big SUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!

I loved Avatar but hope Cameron doesn't forget about his adaptation of Gunm/Alita. A guy with such attention to detail is the right guy to take Yukito Kishiro's world to 3D.

Oh what I wouldn't give to see a pic a Kawamori's face while holding one of those toys!

Wholly F*! They have a huge line with even "normal" and "deluxe" versions! http://speedteam.taobao.com/shop/xshop/wui...eckedRange=true

Here's an easy idea for one of those studies we always hear quoted for a few days on the news: “Is Bestiality now ok? Impact of the Avatar DVD on the rise of bestiality on the Internet”.

They are missing fanservice... wait, now that is something worthy of praise in this day and age.

Well, it can't be worse than Karate Kit 3 and *barf* 4. So we actually get a kid this time and I don't know why (maybe because I didn't recognize him) but Jackie Chan looks like a very good cast for the part.

Can't think of better reasons to get the Max 1A over the 1J than those. Plus, I had forgotten that the TV 1A is the valk that beat Milia (always saw the DYRL? one in pics from MW members since we didn't have a TV version).

Saw the toys a month ago and while the action figures were nice the robot suit looked like a$$ (as a toy and as a design). Curiously, I really enjoyed the scenes that had the mecha in them.

Picture review of the Buster Optimus Prime & Jetfire box set (yep, Buster with a face plate): http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-118386-1-1.html http://ngeekhiong.blogspot.com/2009/12/bus...re-box-set.html Either the guy knows how to take pics or the new scheme makes Jetfire look buyable.

The evolution from the V1 to the V2 1/60 is just "Wow!".

I sense that nugundamII soul is fragmented and he's crying out for our help. Quick everyone, lets shove our peckers into the ground (or a three) and start dancing to heal him! No... wait... crap; Forgot that our Gaia is brain dead compared to the Pandora goddess’s huge noggin… Hippy movie my ass, now I HATE my green planet for getting so owned by a made up one. BTW, I want to see this movie again. Loved the 3D visual experience.

Ok, so I'm finally going to get a display case but I'm having a bit of trouble deciding what to get. I'll probably go with Ikea since other display cases cost a bit much IMO. - The Detolf is the one I see more here in MW but I'm not to fond of how it looks. - I'm also eyeing the small Billy/ Byom(taller than the Detolf but les width and depth). - And finally, the ASPVIK: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30114613 (I've never seen this last one on MW) Any help in deciding? I what to fit as much robots as posible but whitout looking tacky or cramped.

So, are the speaker shoulders and the sound booster one of those webshop exclusive bullcraps or is there going to be a Basara v2.0? If Bandai is doing a bundle with the extra goodies, I'm passing on the first release.

Saw it today and enjoyed it a lot. Predictable, yes, there are a lot of plot holes, yes, but the images were beautiful and the characters were likeable. The whole biological link up thing was a very cool visual metaphor to update the usual hippy plot. If Cameron wanted to touch the moral/philosophical/psychological implications of growing artificial alien bodies in a sequel, he could score another winner.

It does have the huge transforming sword. It just turns into a giant crossbow instead of a gun. A mold milk, but with a bit of new added. One of the little details I like the most from DYRL? is how they show in the opening deployment the constant use of stabilizers on the valks. Showing more of that could bring new breath into anime action scenes. Fight scenes are all starting to really look the same to me (zoom-zoom-weapons clash-tension-brake-rinse and repeat Zzzzzzzz).

Well, if the colors are turning you off, there's the MG Red Frame Kai next year: http://ngeekhiong.blogspot.com/2009/12/mg-...om-dengeki.html You could have an original Max & Miria display

Mobile Suit Gundam 00 - >>Season 2 + Movie<<
Twoducks replied to Chief Guld Goa Bowman's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
... and teleportation out of harms way. ... and flight. ... planetary reentry protection. You can probably get a nice tan with them too; they are produced by a "solar furnace" after all. -
Ok, haven't picked up my PG 00 from customs yet. So, is the 00 such a let down guys? Even considering it has a different PG philosophy behind it? I can just say "shove it" to customs and have it returned to HLJ to get a refund.

Mobile Suit Gundam 00 - >>Season 2 + Movie<<
Twoducks replied to Chief Guld Goa Bowman's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Well, I for one like the new movie designs. Makes the 00 universe more unique. Nice how they incorparate other grunt designs into the Gundams themselves. -
I would say slim, but since the 00 inner frame really is of a single drive MS (the huge ring in the chest), it has milkable written all over it: They could some day make an Exia or the Quann (or whatever is called) from the coming 00 movie. Same thing happened with the Astray PG using the Strike frame.
