I'm getting the Luca for sure (radome = cool even on a sucky character like Luca). The Alto is incredebly tempting but the thing that is holding me up is: - What if they do a bundle later with the Fp or with the Super Armor??? - To much stuff I like... need to try to cut back. I already spend the retail price of a DX on Transformers Animated toys (and they are cheper than Macross crap and are fun). Don't care for turtle neck Roy wanabe

Thanks for the feedback guys! Any peg holes or other such locking parts that could indicate that this thing was designed with the Super Armor in mind and not just the Fast Packs?

I like MP Grimlock more for the dino mode than the robot mode. Looks more fun. But I would change it for a triplechanger in a heartbeat. I NEED Blitzwing and Astrotrain in Masterpiece form

I got Swoop last week and I must say I love the T Animated line. The main autobot cast are nowere to be seen here in Spain, but I do see the rest of the animated season 1 characters plus the Prime-Megatron twopack and Leader Ultra Magnus. Any T Animated must haves? How are Grimlock, Black Arachnia and Blitzwing?

Good thing I watched the trailer, for I moment I thought I read "baseball" (snore) instead of basketball (not snore). Looks like it has very good animation quality and the mecha designs look fun. Wonder if they'll go the cheesy way and have power ups in the form of new shoes

If I never got a Grimlock as a kid it was mostly because in person the metallic scheme put me off. This one isn't so metal looking as I remember the original but that gold is a bit to much for my eyes

Ahh, toydom's eternal struggle! Since there's no word yet of an armor set, I'll definetly skip Ozma and wait for a combo. He just looks wrong in that family picture all naked. Alto and Luca are sweeeet. I'm not interested in the Mikail but the mailawaybullcrap could be nice. What would it be? A couple of sound boosters a fold booster and a Ranka, right?

They already did it years ago; called it Macross II. "Macross, ahead of its time... to the EXTREME!!!111!". Don't know about this one yet. Kinda follows the new super robot feel I got from the redesigned big sniper gun (liked the old one a lot better). I Liked the redeco on Eva-00 though.

I see COMPROMISES in all modes... in other words: balance. Freaking great! Don't get me wrong, the YF-21 fighter is great but the robot modes is very very VERY disappointing. I'm with the YF-19 "looks better as a complete package" camp. This time Yamato has opted for a more balanced look and I really like what I see. Nothing is "perfect" but none of it is "meh" either. Yamato should really reinvent the Macross GN-U line into a partsforming/swapforming line (they don't have the full GN-U skeleton anyways). That way we could get line art accurate valks in both modes as well as balanced perfect transforming valks. Well, the thing isn't line art accurate in any mode either and so far nobody is yelling "this sucks ass" or "cancel order now"; just the very civil "well, tail fins are short". Nice to see a more normal thread (sometimes it is better not to read the DX one ) Graham, the cat is out of the bag; show us your better pics!!

Wow, do this things grow when you are busy repairing all the f*ck ups made by the people you hired to "fix" your house in the first place!! The MW Civil War is soooo juicy right now... but I hate house painters so much that there's no hate left on my hate-o-meter to hate the hateful bitching anymore What I think: - The crotch would look better if it looked like the model but I still like the DX take a lot. - Crap seeing that the fast packs will be a limited/hard to get item or a bundle in the future. - Screw the landing gear, I want a stand and I don’t see one for Alto nor Ozma damn it! - If the Luca was released first I would get it in a heard beat. I find the radar dish a nice change (and the VF-25 NEEDS fast packs and/or Super Armor to be more than just a VF-0/1/19/51 rip-off). - I don't care for diecast. In my book plastic equals good in transforming toys. Yamato f*cks it up sometime but when it works, it's perfect. I was glad that at least the whole lower legs on the Dx weren't diecast like they usually do on chogokins. - I was going to get just Alto but the Ozma colors look really good. Damn decisions and not knowing if they’ll make the armor! - And last but not least: I hate house painters.

Know what? The more closely I see it the more I feel hyped by MP Grimlock. The drawing promises a lot of detail and maybe some fun gimmicks. Only other MP that would get me worked up is a Devastator (fat chance ) or an Astrotrain.

You can say that again! Still, I always wanted a Grimlock as a kid and the "waiter mode" ads extra points. Chalk one up for nostalgia (plus the dino mode looks rather nice so far). Now, the Mickey Prime being just a shellformer is a no. Got really exited by looking at the first tiny pics but now it's "meh" unless the colors make it shine a lot. Wow, that taekwondo video was awesomely fluid. Every little part of the body reacted to every move. Call me a sucker for giant super robots, but I want to see wathever movie these people are making.
