Thrilling trailer! It's like a REBELS fan is getting their long due reward!!

It's ironic that another film, SOUND OF FREEDOM, did really well in the box office against DoD last weekend was originally owned by Disney but shelved it for years before practically giving it away to another studio to be released last week. This has to be the biggest studio blunder since Paramount sold Yellowstone to Peacock. Amazing how some people in Hollywood still have their jobs after making those kinds of mistakes.

All Things Videogame Related: EXTREME VS!!
TangledThorns replied to Keith's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yeah, Battlecry was a great looking and fun game for its time. Shame its follow up was a HALO wannabe that was probably too ahead of its time so modern graphics and tech could make a Cyclone themed game work today I think.- 6681 replies

You'd think we'd get a more modern MACROSS/ROBOTECH mecha game by this decade...- 6681 replies

Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan)
TangledThorns replied to EXO's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Well, the AoT anime finale could be a good way to improve on the manga which I heard may actually happen. Either way, I enjoyed the ride!! On a side note I re-watched the series dubbed in english on Crunchyroll and its way better than I expected. Keeps my eyes on the gorgeous anime action instead of the subtitled text at the bottom of the screen.- 353 replies

Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan)
TangledThorns replied to EXO's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Most stories, especially the more popular ones, is difficult to conclude to avoid sequelitus. Attack on Titan is a wild AF story but I never expected logical explanations for everything in it, especially in regards to the "science" of the titans themselves. But I can understand people losing their minds over certain aspects of it all but in the end its a fantasy. Expecting a bad ending that wasn't there was a heckuva surprise for me tho, lol. That being said, Attack on Titan is my favorite anime series of all time. Hope that doesn't get me banned from a MACROSS forum 🤣- 353 replies

Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan)

Finally finished the manga in the Colossal editions. Was worried about the ending as I read many complaints about it but thought it was fine but epic too. Why do so many hate its ending??- 353 replies

I loved LEGACY as it had the right look and still looks great today. However I think a series would be smarter as Disney+ desperately needs new-ish content.

About time they cast an AMERICAN actor as Superman, lol. Same should be for Batman too!! British actors are taking our jerbs!!

Star Trek: Picard (CBS All-Access)
TangledThorns replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Finished the season3/series finale. Way better than the previous two however... Nostalgia is getting old in sci-fi & fantasy and is probably dooming it. BORG as plot line is tired, was already used in the previous seasons too. Revenge plots are old AF too. That being said I just realized Amanda Plummer's (Vadic) father played a villain in Star Trek 6 too.- 2171 replies

Finished the BARRY finale last night. Yeah, great series, excellent cast and pretty smart they kept it to less than 30 minutes too. Bill Hader was one of my favorites on SNL.

As for Ezra Miller I think he was outstanding in the film and if he can sort himself I'd like to see him in more films. I do believe in second chances however he is getting more than one, which is very generous in today's over-reactive cancel driven media environment.

Interesting but not surprised they didn't touch the Bale or Pattinson Batmen, same with Phoenix's JOKER. Those films are at a level way above all other DC films. That being said, I don't think James Gunn's DCEU films will be anymore cohesive as they are today. However the studio execs will be fine with James Gunn as long as he keeps raking in $$$.

Saw THE FLASH tonight with the wife for date night. Even with all its faults we were still very entertained. Much better than many of the recent MCU films as THE FLASH took risks that the MCU doesn't in most of its films and makes them plain boring.

I think Russell Crowe would be good as Dumbledore in the Harry Potter series for MAX. They better deliver or perish to streaming.

RIP comic book films. Hollywood should look at manga (again!) for new ideas and hopefully without screwing it up.
