    Nice! I remember building this years ago. Unfortunately it didn't end up nearly as good as this. Yeah, I have to agree that the materials used on this kit were pretty flimsy.

    Thanks for sharing that video Kicker! Despite loving Macross 7, I feel bad that I only have two Valks from the series. I really need to get more M7 valks. Oh, and storage space as well.

    I think the most I had to do for a single toy is with the Yamato SDF-1. By the time I was willing to fork out some cash for it, the last remaining copy on Mandarake had sold out. I had to stake out the usual places like Jungle, Japan Yahoo Auction, and Mandarake for a month, checking every hour to see if one pops out. I got lucky one evening when checking Mandarake, and proceeded to check out immediately without even reading about the price and the condition of the toy. Luckily, I got it at a relatively good price and the toy was in perfect condition when I finally got it. The shipping was a hassle but it was all worth it! Happy to mess around with it for a while before finally putting it on display with the rest of my Valkyries.

    Yeah I think those are from the old YF-19. Took photos of the new part for reference.

    I also only have one Valkyrie with decals applied. The rest are naked, except for the YF-19, which I applied the stickers for the intakes (which was the only missing detail that bothered me). I like the clean look right out of the box of the Yamato/Arcadia toys, and the option to add more detail if needed. So yeah I agree, it's all about personal preferences.

    Got one from HLJ too. Even if the price is higher, their shipping is usually cheaper, and I feel more comfortable dealing with them.
