Probably, the lighting made it look beige to me.

Is that a YF-19 on the right?

That video reminds me of my frustration with Bandai removing the backpack lock when they made the move to HiMetalR. The toy needs a backpack lock for those boosters!

I wonder if the Regult pilot can fit in the Glaug? You would think it does. I wonder if they're going to do 'in scale' Zentraedi figures in addition to the pilots/soldiers. Miriya, Azonia, Khyron, Breetai, and Exedore as a five pack would be sweet! Hmm but what about Dolza and Bronn? Anywho,

It probably has to be a bit more round to accommodate the pilot

Does Sentinel ever show Mospeada products outside Japan? I think they only have the Japanese license.

If bogue has fixes, the reissue will have fixes and it sounds like bogue has fixes.

Dougram cosplaying as Soltic.

Matchbox did Cream with red accents. That wasn't bad. The other was beige and brown accents which is the look I would probably start with.

First, I think I used to be a super irritating dick toward you so I apologize. Second, many of us did the midnight madness and were lucky enough to score them at MSRP but even with that effort, it was super hard and most had to resort to some sort of mark-up after the first release (Hikaru's 1J) was good so everyone was ready to jump on board. You can play the long game and hope they release a Focker DYRL version since they were very clear that the one they sold so far is a TV version. That might give you a chance to grab one at MSRP during preorder madness.

So what's wrong with all those YF-19s?

I think the creators were surprised by the negativity to the long episodes. They were like "it's on streaming, you can stop it whenever you like." Even so, it's sooo much easier to stop it when it actually is transitioning to a new episode and there seemed like a couple spots they could have split it up. There were only two aspects I didn't really love:

Like matchbox did in the Robotech line eons ago.

Reviews seem to be skewing positive with a few vocal dissents. Probably stupid fun ather than thought provoking art. I might go see it.

My guess is that this is from the universe where Stick and company's ride armors look like the ones made by sentinel. If you are hung up on original aesthetics then you're likely to be frustrated.

Given how strong the $ is against the Yen, it's cheaper to buy from Japan and have it shipped (but it sold out everywhere).

Yep, that pretty much nailed it.

That's my big disconnect, it's hard for me to imagine this fairly somber film being a kids favorite movie (or a remake of it). I guess I was expecting something more ID4 or Star Wars.

I saw it at El Capitan in LA today. That place is dope. My 7 and 9 year olds and my wife loved it. I thought it was alright. I was hoping for something more light-hearted with more of a "OMG Buzz is so awesome!" vibe. I probably wanted that because that's what I would think would be a kid's favorite movie. It's not that but still fun.

That yellowed DX VF-1 is confusing because it was transformed after being left on display in fighter mode in front of a window. If you imagine it in fighter mode, all the yellowing makes sense: outsides of the legs, none on the arms, chest and back, none on the heat shield. He probably transformed it back to put it in the box to ship it to someone else and then took the pics.
