  1. They will most likely be sold separately, I'm guessing with a concurrent reissue of the Legioss/Alpha.
  2. So, basically, nobody knows, we can't make sense of it, and it won't matter because it's never getting made. Maybe Sony was going to buy BW and put Macross on Crunchyroll.
  3. Maybe that was HG's plan but Sony had other ideas? HG had constraints, Sony has the means to remove them. The whole idea of getting the license makes a lot more sense if they could leverage what's popular about it.

    Hi-Metal R

The original Hi-Metal toys actually had a functional backpack lock when you pushed them down. For some reason, the HMR toys don't have it and it's a bummer, it helped with super/strike parts.
  5. So Sony must have been convinced they could get BW to buy-in somehow because that definitely looks more like "live action Macross" than it has any business in doing. Honestly, I'm sure Sony could have, they certainly have the means. Maybe release it in Japan as TLA Macross via the reverse Robotech treatment.

This thread has gone right down the drain.
  7. Has anyone had success tightening up the hips on their DX VF-25 toys (either renewal or revival)? All I've every done is torque the screw a little harder but has anyone popped the screws out and done anything internally and really liked how it came out?
  8. I'm still going with the whole Bandai owns Sunrise argument for why it's not Satelight. The theory makes even more sense in light of what Seto said about why Sunrise wasn't the first pick when Delta was produced (still being gobbled up by Bandai).
  9. I didn't know about that hack. I'll give that a try and if it fails, I'll try the Plastruct recommendation. Still working on my Invid Scout review. Here's another fun pic:
  10. Thanks! I was thinking of doing some MPC and Sentinel pics together. Did anyone ever figure out a glue that would resolve this break on the MPC?
  11. Aren't the fixes needed for the AX just as tiny though? It just barely doesn't fit together... seems like it's a couple very minor tweaks away from being good. It's not like there's a design element that's off, just a fit problem.
  12. What was the most recent agreement relating to the live action movie? I thought when HG backed off the "all Macross" claim they got some sort of a pass on the live action movie. Regardless, I agree, lots of stuff that would be taboo in those images and they very much seem like an AI renditions of "Show me what a live action Macross movie would look like."
  13. Well, I was going to grab the advanced Rick with tuna head... might as well throw in a black and red valk too.
  14. Nah, it's not true. The DX VF-1 got a peg on the nosecone after the first release. Bandai makes tweaks... Just not enough of them. I will still hope for the best.
  15. Armored Troopers: Macross Fang of the Sun: Macross So Bandai owns Sunrise right? If so, it's surprising this didn't happen a long time ago. It's this bad news for our friends in Japan that were helping with translations and such?
  16. Landing gear aren't just for landing, they help you roll the plane around. Very helpful for logistics... Drive it into a repair bay and such.
  17. The question as to why that gear is out though is still valid. I wonder what the canards connect to? Maybe they're nose mounted drones or something? Maybe something mounts between the arms and extends forward past the nose above the cockpit?
  18. Sentinel is working hard to come up with Legioss add-ons and different Tread configurations!
  19. I'm holding out hope that the upcoming reissue will have some tweaks.
  20. Yes, but it's the peg the ball attaches to that needs the thickness.
  21. I'm currently staining doors so I have a gallon of water based polyurethane from Home Depot. I put a little on the joint pegs and that did the trick. On one, I used super glue on the pegs (without attaching then to the toy until after it dried) and that did the trick but left a little white fogging near the application. There are a few floor waxes that would also work. Kiki has a nice looking applicator but these give you easy access to the joints so any option should work
  22. Do you have any water based polyurethane? They're much more fun if you can tighten up the joints just a little bit.
  23. I've been enjoying these little crabbies:
