  1. Seems like it would be easy to make a more standard SW themed hotel that offers a 'dinner theater' experience that's some combination of Rise of the Resistance, Star Tours, and the cruise idea. Have nine unique dinner theater themes (one for each movie) and you'd be able to convince people to shell out for that premium experience more than once.

    Hi-Metal R

For the original HM they were available individually and you got a bonus for getting all three. I hope that's the format for this as well... People who just purchased the GBP probably don't need another Hikaru.
  3. I just hand my controller to my son when it's time for fusing. I think years of trailmakers and minecraft have better prepared him for that stuff. I think I'm about to transition from playing to watching him play.
  4. I keep running to the door every time it sounds like a delivery truck is here and then moping back to my office empty handed. Really wish this got released on Father's Day weekend instead of Mother's Day though... ugh.
  5. Probably receiving the first sample from the factory.
  6. Me too! Just opened mine up but I went further and loosened the arm screws and the ankles because they were so tight gerwalk was impossible. Funny because loose ankles was my biggest issue with the original release.
  7. Well for posterity, I figured out how to disconnect the sound system so you can continue to enjoy the cockpit and the lights and it was actually very easy to do. I think the first step is hard because it seems glued but on mine, at least, I think it had adhered to the rubber but wasn't actually glued so steady lifting pressure caused the door to pop off: I was then able to disconnect the speakers and everything else is left the same so it works just fine! (ya know, as long as you don't mind having the soundsystem feature). It looks like it would be easy and cheap for Kids Logic to offer folks a replacement board to swap out... but I'm guessing that ship has sailed and I haven't heard good things about their customer service anyway.
  8. That pic with battroid on the left may have some lens distortion.
  9. The SMS base was tossed back when the YF-29 was revived. No painting on this base and it's universal... Win/win for Bandai.

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

    Most likely.
  11. I'm glad they moved on from 1/12 scale... It was too much you for them to handle. Excited to try it this one
  12. It's supposed to match the armor in the hip kibble right? Nothing to paint.

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

A MWW reissue? Maybe that moves the YF-21 closer to production.
  14. It's too pale! (In before David) Seriously though, it is. Just a little darker and a little grayer.
  15. MSRP was 25,000 Yen but shipping was a killer because it's very big (both box and toy) and heavy. It seems unlikely they're reissuing it, it may be the worst selling HMR toy to date. A lot of the draw for HMR is the relatively low cost and small size and the Monster doesn't satisfy either of those. Of course it's a magnificent piece and Bandai has been known to make some off the wall choices so.... maybe they will.
  16. I don't like the fists... Otherwise I like it a lot.
  17. My kids are 7 and 10, neither play Mario but have played or at least watched it at some point. They thoroughly enjoyed it which is what matters since I went for them. I thought it was meh... I'm used to these family movies hitting me in the feels but this movie is aimed squarely at kids and doesn't do anything for adults beyond those quick nostalgia bombs. I will be doing awful renditions of "peaches" for some time.
  18. Pedro, did you ever find a solution for the pulsating sound? I have the exact same issue and its intermittently broken up by VERY LOUD static.
  19. I posted an in depth comparison of the SD Infinity and Tiny Session VF-25 toy. Check out the video here
