For the lines that are doing zentraedi Mecha?

That looks really good

That's a very good point, the trick here is going to be to try to match the white with the valk so any TV valk (or Arcadia VF-1, excluding the pink 1J). I think TV Focker may be a front runner here. It may also give some people a reason to build there assembly kits without worrying about painting them.

I sincerely doubt I finished Gaiares without resorting to cheating. There were a number of cheats available for that game.

When's the next big show? I was expecting a super 1A Max after Hikaru and we still don't have that tomahawk! I hope they're not afraid of cannibalizing DX VF-1 sales.
-
I would guess the head is a plastic part that plugs in, making the head swap in the prototype picture an easier mistake.
-
Bandai should take a page out of Takara's book and do a VT-1+ release that is 100% faithful to the original Hi-Metal 1/55 VT-1. It should be white and orange with a black head.

For Yamato V2 toys, what's the best way to remove stickers? I bought a used VT-1 that has the number applied to the nosecone and I'd like to remove it but I don't want to create bigger issues. Can I just carefully peel it up? If it leaves behind some sticky residue, what's the safest method for cleaning it off?

I think the statement was more like "The VF-1 is my favorite so the announcement of a DX VF-1 is making me forego the DX YF-19." Not so much a worry that everything would be coming in 1/48.

They must be option parts to the display stands that FEXT is planning or something, those aren't the normal leg and arm connectors for the stand that comes with the OWL.
-
I think the mold is seriously showing its age at this point, I don't know that a reissue would compete well with modern toys.
-
Another thought, they are also very easy to paint since they're made in a bare plastic, customizing should be a snap without too much concern for paint chipping.

I was thinking this had low vis Roy written all over it.

Arcadia Premium Finish Max and Miria 1/60 Super VF-1J

I haven't even got a prep in progress notice... Maybe because it's shipping with my PF miria. -
I would say 'yes' for easier transformation. There are loose wings and ankles but it's manageable.

Yup, wearing an anymoon shirt so you can spot me.

Certainly a shame if it is, Dougram had lots of classic designs. I'm a much bigger fan of the Dougram designs than Xabungle.

Probably not soon... the toy releases have been coming too fast for me and there's a holiday coming up and an MW convention. Let's see, things to do in no particular order: A) FEXT Hobby Owl One B) Bandai DX VF-31S Arad C) Toynami Robotech action figures D) Bandai HMR VT-1 E) Arcadia M&M and M&M PF (plus I gotta redo those transformation videos) IF I could do one a week (which honestly, I can't) that would already put us in October and there's going to be at Bandai DX YF-19 dropping in September and possibly a ThreeZero Melkia Scopedog.... soooo, I've got a bit of a backlog! A little self-plug here, I do have a Facebook page now where I regularly ask what I should review next. There's like nobody on it since it's new so it's pretty easy to manipulate the order to your liking.

Ha, let's not call it "correct" scale, let's call it "published" scale. Why does Mercy Rabbit know how big the toy is going to be? I thought he was an artist, not a toy guy. Ooh, unless he's already working on the box and they told him the text that will be there.

There are three, if not four, possible variants so I wouldn't expect it to be more than the ride armor. If it's the size of a ride armor, it may very well be cheaper but I wouldn't get my hopes up that it would be dramatically cheaper.

The problem with the Super Ostrich is that word got out quick that the shoulders were broken on them. So yeah, they were shelf warmers, but only part of that can be blamed on lack of demand for the design, the other was lack of demand for a toy that was broken in the box.
