To be fair to Mykombini, their website says that that is their policy. They do refunds but you're responsible for shipping costs.

No stickers applied? $250ish for TV Max and TV Hayao, two loose complete ones just sold on eBay for $200 each The Roy TV 30th is probably like $225 and the Hikaru 1S is probably $175-200 since there was a recent Arcadia re-release with strike parts for only nominally more.

BW makes it explicitly clear to all licensees they can't do any business outside of Japan due to HG shenanigans. This is why you can't reach out to Bandai directly and get replacement parts for Bandai's obvious flub. For example, when I bought a ThreeZero Votoms toy that needed a replacement part, I went to ThreeZero before I went to my retailer and ThreeZero tried to make it right (though they failed.. so not great example). MyKombini has a return policy and they say "If you need to return something, it has to be complete and in like new condition and you pay return shipping." If they do anything less than that, then totally their bad.

We're already out to January with the Lil Drakken set so March is probably the absolute soonest but the expectation is that we'll have armored parts before Chuck. So Q1 seems impossible and if anything else comes out, it would easily bump Chuck all the way out to Q3. I would guess an Arad Kairos before Chuck so late Q2, early Q3 sounds about right. I think Chuck is going to be a 'farewell to Delta' release as they gear up for the next show.

There were moments in Pailsen files I liked but the more they elaborate on Chirico's backstory the less AT:V makes sense to me. This might be all on me, but when I first watched AT:V, I felt that Chirico knew he was a great soldier but did not know he was unbeatable. That added tension as he goes up against the Perfect Soldiers. When he starts defeating Perfect Soldiers he comes to realize that he is a naturally born Perfect Soldier. Then the show progresses to him being shown that he's more than that, he's an Overman. Then they added in OVAs and prequels that make it so Chirico knows he can't die. It's not even that he can't die because he's such a good soldier... he literally can't die, the universe intervenes on his behalf. Doesn't that suck all the tension out of all of the events that led up to the moment he is revealed to be an overman? There were scenes in the TV show that are throw-away glimpses that make no sense that seemingly were trying to hint at this also but the OVA beats them to death. Chirico has brief flashbacks in the show to being on fire and even being a baby in a lab that gets sucked out to space. They are bizarre glimpses though that just make you think WTF.

Oh yeah, good recommendation on the 35max if you want something a bit more fun than heavy metal nostalgic.

I love Votoms stories although the more they made Chirico into a god the worse they got IMHO. The toys you're looking for are by Takara and are called Dual Model or Revival Dual Model. Getting a RDM Red Shoulder custom might be a great start. Those are the equivalent of Macross 1/55 Takatoku toys. They aren't the most articulated but are very solid and actually sold so well they kept Votoms on the air despite so-so ratings.

Everything they make is way too big for my storage or display capacities. It's cool for those who have the room though the airbrake does seem small to me in proportion to the head.

Oh check your shoulder pieces! Mine were installed on the wrong shoulders. Once I fixed that things were much better. Otherwise, it sounds like maybe both toys are the same and the rest is up to QC... they were only a month a part so it seems unlikely any real tweaks happened.

The general feeling is that Ray is a bit better to handle than Stick. If I didn't own one I'd hold out at this point, the wait isn't very long.

Nothing has implied the sv51 is dead yet, there will be shows soon and we'll learn more. Arcadia said one new mold per year was their goal.

So Dark Legioss will come with Yellow's bike, Red Legioss will come with Dark VR-52F, and green Legioss will come with Scott figures... again. I wonder if they'll surprise us and make it a Ray figure or if it's a done deal. No release dates?

Yamato sold a standalone gray visor version as a web shop exclusive and a regular white visor version. The gift sets come with a great visor version. I have the standalone GBP so I want the standalone gray visor to go with it.
