I swung by Gamestop today and grabbed a NES Classic. I have the SNES Classic but haven't played it much... I've been too addicted to Breath of the Wild. Once I'm done BotW though I plan on starting over at the beginning.

My grail toys right now are old terrible toys. It's not because they're cool, or even look good, it's just because it's so hard to find them in good condition since they were the cheapy throw-away toys of their day. If you want a Yamato that's rare, you can find it, it's just expensive. My grails, it takes months or years of looking just to see one in remotely good condition. I think the Takatoku chunkies and Mospeada ride armor toys above can be like this. You can find beat up Takatokus pretty easy but to land truly mint ones takes an exceptional effort. I've sworn of Takatoku chunkies, too many people Frankensteined them during the late 90s to get them into selling condition. The more I examined the ones I did buy, the more I could see something just wasn't right.

October 2018 for the green one and it's not a limited release like the red one. I went ahead and preordered one from HLJ. NY has the cheaper list price but they charge 5900 for shipping so I think it will net out to a very similar price and I'll be able to fall back on HLJ's service if I need to (and I can ship it with Cordon if it's out roughly on time) .

So bizarre thing, I pulled my 0D out for a group shot and I can no longer get the long slender missiles to peg in... it's as if the pegs on the wings have swollen or the slots on the missile have shrunk. I can slide the missile on but it gets pushed right off. Nine months or so when I had my 0D out last there wasn't an issue. The toy has been kept inside a closet in the box the whole time so no big heat changes... very strange.

There was one! I remember offering to host it at some point but whoever made it had another plan for it. I don't know what became of it after that.

They could reuse the body and do a head swap for a Lunk later (though it may look like a slimmed down Lunk or a big Ben)

I'll second this! I don't mind if they release one six months before the other (like Max VF-1J) so long as they TELL us up front that the PF is coming.

I'm just worried non Macross duds (like xabungle government type) make it less likely we'll get Macross duds (like the Phalanx).

Since the Faerie and green squadrons seem like such easy paint swaps, I wish Bandai would do what they did with the original Hi-metal line and make Nexx and those two all just TWE that we could grab at the same time.

The sad thing with that 17 is how much cooler it could have been articulation wise with very minor changes to the mold. -
'Ripped off' is the wrong word, perhaps 'recreated' would be better. It's not like they were trying to be original... the whole schtick is to be a timewarp.

Super7 seems like a nostalgia company... all the products are throwbacks to 80s products (and not the great ones). The Re(Action) Line looks like throwback Takatoku Vinyl figures. They're obviously not trying to be perfect replicas, just sort of capturing that spirit.

I think they'll do TV Roy just like they did TV Hikaru... In fact, I think it will be the next VF1. Hope I'm wrong, but Roy as a TWE was silly so he needs a regular release.
