Thanks for the pics, I'll have to try again with the gun attached... It always seemed like one end or the other wouldn't work for me. I did find the lack of mention of the stand in the instructions a little funny.

NY still hasn't shipped mine but I don't really think it will be much of a review... The Lil Drakkens were already released for Keith, this is the same but without the missile pods. It's kinda sad really, if we had gotten more SV-262 toys this release of the lil drakken accessory probably would have been a lot more popular.

I suspect it's fighter only and the shapes just don't perfectly correspond to the toy. The back piece sort of rests against the arms and the front tab fits behind the head but if you try to push it in it just slides the nosecone forward. Doing it with the gun installed takes a lot of patience... More than I have apparently.

LOL, I can not get the display stand to work in any mode. Edit - in fighter mode I can get it to work without the gun but it doesn't really tab in.

With Arcadia versions so readily available... seems a bad choice for a KO outfit.

I think the VF-4 you're thinking of was in the TV show, I don't think that scene happened in DYRL. In the TV show it's a prototype VF-4, not the final product. The VF-4 then gets some actual airtime in Flashback 2012. As to which valk had the most screen time in DYRL, the VT-1 does feel like it gets a lot of airtime with them cruising around looking for survivors and all. I still think we're due for another Hikaru VF-1J reissue... probably PF,... probably with super parts or GBP... but I hope Arcadia just sticks with 2 seaters for the rest of the year.

I think it's the same person and I think it has evolved into an action figure. Check out the Macross Action Figures thread and you can see lots of interesting projects he's attempting. Edit - Also if you're talking about just a project for you to take on rather than a commercial type project, it certainly sounds like it could be pretty fun.

That guy who is making a Breetai action figure as Meptoys teased doing something with Incident also. Matchbox stuff isn't super available so I don't think kit bashing is a good start.

The shoulders never needed to be engineered, Yamato blamed the fragile shoulders on certain releases on a manufacturing flaw (everybody blames the factory right?). By the time the first VE-1 came out this had been resolved so you shouldn't have anything to worry about there.
