The benefit of hindsight is nice, but as this went down there was lots of uncertainty. No one taking you up on your offer is a whole other thing. At the end of the day, people paid up front for an item, didn't get that item for a crazy length of time, many lost hope and accepted credit for their orders and they should have never been in that scenario... They should have received the item on release.

Because it took them so long to deliver that they're now selling the ones that people abandoned as they freaked out and prices sky rocketed. No one was ever assured they would get it from NY, particularly as the time table crept out, so several people bought from other sources at huge mark ups to guarantee they'd have one. In the end, NY has every right to do what they're doing, but they obviously are the ones who benefited from this, not the consumers who expected to receive it at MSRP on release date.

My theory on this goes back to the discussion previously about the genesis of the story and how the Legioss developed. The plans for the size of the craft may have been rather fluid for a while as more substantive issues with the plot were tackled. A tiny Legioss is helpful for story elements that involve hiding it so the dimensions may have been shrunk at the last moment as the plane transitioned from burner to hero. Similarly, the introduction of the Tread at the last moment would have had a similar effect, particularly if it was thrust on the story by toy companies who would have wanted the tread to be small enough to be feasibly sold in a line with a Legioss.

They confirmed it was just a typo but at this size is really irrelevant. You're pondering about a few mm.

Ah yes, the image is chronological so the Roy TV must have suffered a copy paste error. I'll fix on the next round. Good into on the later weathering releases, since the first ones were repackaged regular releases I assumed Yamato continued doing that. I'll update those as well. If you have reissue dates in old packaging I'd love to have that info and see if it can be incorporated somehow.

I'm sure there were lots of iterations, maybe the earlier ones had basic planes but the Legioss went through several iterations and was less of a weekend design where the tread was definitely a last minute slap on.

As was said when the list was published, I don't buy each variant, if you have better info, I appreciate it. Please elaborate on what is wrong. Version type? Safety of shoulders?

Yes, first release is DYRL version but the biggest difference is the missile color and they got that wrong. I imagine TV version would just be the same but the 1J would be brighter white with a blue canopy, they might make the armor a paler blue also.

No, it's the TV version.

Just the Tlead, the Legioss was always part of the show but it was originally a burner vehicle, getting used and blown up then others found later.
