The jolly Roger looks funky on the helmet... They should have given him Yellow's helmet so the skull could be lower down.

Review spoiler: I was very let down by the knees and feet in soldier mode, and a little let down by the hips... But only because the hips don't allow a huge amount of leg flare in combined diver mode. Otherwise, I like it.

Yes! And much like the Sentinel Riobot, I'll drop everything I'm doing to get to it. I haven't preordered one yet though... tough to judge who would be able to ship it to me the quickest.

In the chest section you missed how terrible the cockpit looks hanging down the middle. Also... the big box that is the Toynami chest may look 'beefier' but it's not more correct.

They probably only put an initial portion of the 500 for sale which is why it was gone so quick.

Took out my Tread, put it on its landing gear and, so far, I'm very impressed.

That's very interesting because Sentinel products previously were very clearly not licensed by HG. I presumed the Japan only nature of this release indicated the continuing of that trend. Maybe we're about to see more reissues now with HG branding.

Looks like they're leaning hard into weathering versions.

When I had friends at Sentinel, they said they were having a hard time justifying the mold costs because they didn't think the other versions would be marketable. There was conversation about possibly doing them as exclusives but even that seemed unlikely.

I think the landing gear bulge just looks more pronounced because of the lighting.

While that may be true, TZ hasn't offered me any alternatives. I'm also only waiting on parts so the value would be minimal, not sure if that makes things better or worse.
