1. dude, its made with legos. 330243 That very well may be, but it still missing the arms. If it would be extended length-wise, just a bit, I think it would look just right. Still, that is a nice piece of work.
2. Needs to to be sleek. That design looks very bulky.
3. says it all I think 330106 ....what about a woman who is a gorgeous Sex Toys Model.
4. You just answered your own question. How's your build up coming along?
5. The Ingo cabinet from Ikea would be good for adding a nice lock on it.. Just drill a hole in the door and add a cylinder lock and key and you will be good to go.. 330075 Good tip. Also nice collection.
6. Hi George, Just in case your feeling lonely and homesick. LA, California
7. Those $5.00 bucks when added up can be used to purchase another Macross Item. Gotta count your pennies.
8. My condolences. And now...on to modeling. An art form that will NEVER DIE, JUST MULTIPLY!
9. Either is a great choice for decals/stickers. Service is also top notch from both. Besides, Anasazi37 and Takatoys both sell there goods over at TMP Anime. Hope this helps.
10. Damn!! Read the first page of this thread. Rushed over to Toy-Wave for few 1/48 GBPs. I see the items is sold out. Then I return to page two of this thread and... BAM!!! I read this. Oh the agony, the pain.
11. You better hope she is not Yellow Dancer... Welcome to the boards, yui1107. Thanks for posting those nice customs.
12. This guys work, being described as "damn impressive" is the biggest understatement I've hear all week. There really are no words to describe this.
13. They are about the same size (just a few mils) smaller than the 1/100 Taka/Banddai VFs.
14. No one is ever happy with what they have or get. They are always too anxious to get what the haven't or will not get. C'mon guys, cheer up!!! All of us have been waiting for this for a very long time. Let's all rejoice!!
15. Trust me, I share your fears. Still, I am not 100% sure I totally like the proportions of the 1/48.
16. I painted the inside with burnt iron, metalized the outside with mr. metal color dark iron and the turbines with mr. super metallic , super iron. The weathering was done with pastels, I don't even try to take a pics of the inside, it's already hard take a pic of the outside, sorry for the crappy pic. ************ Don't give up on taking pics. They are the meat of your posts. Keep up the great work. So are you condsidering lit up afterburners?
17. I like this pic. It has a feel of being a premonition of what's to come. If you look at the right leg the details seem to stand out more (more commanding) and show the colors of the skull leader on the small fin of the leg. Pretty neat.
18. How about a Step-By-Step for Customizing on the main page of MW. This could exist seperately from the model (customs) section and toy (customs) section. This way it would serve as a reference guide. Also, people who are submitting techniques would be able to submit original ideas and not repost methods previously submitted. As far as Step-by-Step build ups, I think this could be set up as a thread that is started and only used by the builder, until he or she is done. Any questions can be answered via PM or e-mails and the builder can then post the answer on the thread, or just describe the efforts/media used in accordance to the questions recieved. Just an idea...
19. How about some pics of the other Valks and maybe some shots of your other stuff. What's your usuall modelling preference?
20. Check your "Bulk" mail folder. This is where I received my password.
21. But this could be a useful guide to use when selecting the color of your VF-1D conversion. BTW- I'll take one please.
