1. Hey D, what's up? Exo, knows about these. He sent me the link a few months ago. Really cool scratchbuilds.
2. I might be down for a cannon or two 363496 A cannon or two??? You cheap son-of-a..., get at least ONE full strike set!!! (plus two cannons)
3. kanata67 is one of the biggest 1/55 collectors around these forums. Let's just wait and see how long it takes for him to chime into this thread
4. Still waiting for my GBP to arrive. I was really looking forward to getting it this weekend.
5. Rob, See me avatar, sorry this is not Macross related. Thanks.
6. Loins, Robot, Giant Sword...It's all good, then and now!!! BTW, anyone remember the name of the hermaphrodite in the Voltron series??
7. You know some pain supplies are considered toys.
8. Proportion of the hands is an issue, but they still suit the main purpose of completing the DYRL look, and making them more aggressive. Resculpting the hands could be an option, but the price could become slightly higher due to the work involved. I will have to look into reducing the size of the mold via a shrinking agent, but if that is unsuccessful then I can only provide the recasts (not resculted) hands. I still have no price set, I am still awaiting the arrival of my GBP.
9. Just use regular Elmer's White Glue. The head is not supposed to be glued together on any 1A.
10. If you like VH try Valkyrie Dream Flight. Remember this?
11. I heard he died in a horrible lemur milking accident. 360134 hey... thats chilly willy and not opus?!?!? WTF? 360159 Dude, didn't you know? Chilly Willy IS Opus reincarnated.
12. Since it is a bootleg, there really is no way to actually find out were the paint scheme came from. It's just like asking where the color schemes for the carded 1/55s (with boosters) came from. Now those are some scary color schemes. Thanks Ghostryder. That's probably it. Although, I swore that there was a 1J or 1A I saw with the Cannon Fodder paint scheme, but green instead of the brown. 359855 joon's made a 1/55 vf-1j in green like you are describing. pic from the 1/55 revisted thread. Does that look more like you were thinking? I always wondered where the paint scheme came from myself. 360074
13. I don't think there that large. I will let you know as soon as I have my GBP in hand.
14. Hi Curly, I have a dual seat from another member and I can send it to you free of charge, just send me your mailing address. NB4M, P.S. Still going strong on getting the ElintSeeker Kits together. Hopefully by the end of January I should have a few kits ready.
15. Thanks Ghostryder. That's probably it. Although, I swore that there was a 1J or 1A I saw with the Cannon Fodder paint scheme, but green instead of the brown. 359855 That, IIRC, is somewhere in the episodes 31-34. I think it was in the Zentradi Weapons Depot / Hideout on earth. I'll have to look for it.
16. I think Jung is just really busy with work at this time. You can still visit his old customs at the Valkyrie Hangar. Great stuff!!!
17. I will have an options set available for the side covers ONLY. *NOTE TO ALL PRICING IS NOT SET THIS IS ONLY TO GAUGE INTEREST.
18. I'd say, June 17-18. It would be a great start, just before summer.
19. Other than these two issues, is there anything else to look out for?
20. I don't thinnk it will be that long before they re-release the Max DYRL VF-1A. There could also be a slight possibility that once the VF-0S appears on the scene the rest of the VF-1 TV Series valks just might not make it to production. Hopefully, Yamato will see big sales with the MacrossZero valkyries and continue the line all the way up to a 1/60 VB-6 Monster. Yummy.
21. I'm still waiting for mine. Soon, I'll have it, real soon.
22. I think it is an excellent custom overall. Especially from this 3/4 view, the figure looks fantastic. I think it captures the unreadiness and childlike character of Hikaru. Hikaru
23. Ew. Well, I do suppose that might justify the price somewhat... if you could... uh, "love" them in the way AgentONE loves doorknobs. Seriously, though, the whole thing's basic economics. The show's old, it's not all that popular except to fans of our generation, and they're high quality/low quantity items. That pretty much ensures that the price will be high. Throw in the fact that they must be shipped from Japan and the tiny detail that Yamato and the retailer need to make some kind of profit and there you go. Yamato toys cost what they cost. I myself had to sell a few in a pinch when I needed some money fast. The great thing is that the higher priced items usually either hold their initial value or actually go up in value a year or so after release. Can't say the same thing about your car or your clothes... so what's the better buy? 359660 Hookers!!! They don't go up in value, they just go up and down on your doorknob.
