Every year I switch football games for fun... this year was ESPN, last year was Madden. This is a drag because ESPN was just getting better and Madden was starting to stagnate. What bums me out the most is that we'll have to go through EA's crap servers to play online now. A total drag from a football gamers perspective... it screws Sega/VC and there is no longer a reason for Madden to improve on its game.

The Red Baron scheme is actually a very cool idea. I've got a Moon Act Minmay but it's' just like the one in the galleries. It seems that most customs get posted in the 'Toys' section.

Some people have more than enough time to play with their toys. Where I work, the restroom lights are hooked up to some kind of motion detector. No movement for half an hour and the lights go off. On two occasions I've gone entered to find that the lights were off. I figure I'm the only one there, but then I hear someone start to work the tp dispenser in one of the stalls. Now I don't mind relaxing while sitting on the can, but over half an hour!?! Maybe he fell asleep, but I think the more important question is - how long would he have sat in the dark? My old office used to have this. I got 'trapped in the dark' once too but not because I take 30 minute steamers but because I didn't reset the counter once I got in there. After 4 minutes, it went off. Luckily (or unluckily) my co-worker came in and turned the lights on for me.

If you lined it up with a 2nd edition, you wouldn't (as far as I can tell by color) be able to tell the difference. Same color to me.

Yea...has nothing to with the fact that the F-14 is outdated compared to the F/A-18 or the fact that the geopolitical makeup of the world is different from what it was 20 years ago. Having a fleet organized as it was in the '80s is outdated thinking. Our whole premise is all about a inferior plane replacing a superior plane. The F-14 was better than the F-4 in every which way. THe F/A-18F? good but not the IDEAL, replacement. Now if it was something ideal and BETTER in every which way, then we wouildn't be bitching. I'm not a huge aviation buff but I remember hearing somewhere that the Tomcats have a very large amount of upkeep time spent on them... basically the flight hours they log before retrofitting is much much less than that of the Hornets.

I've heard that too...it locks people's Live accounts or something. It's happening but I don't think people know how they're detecting it. Some people think it is HDD related but that doesn't seem to be the case (I've got a friend with a 120 GB HDD and he hasn't been banned). I chose to get an extra Xbox specifically for modding to avoid crap like this.

Have these three been released as a DVD set yet? I mean a good set, not just repackaged VHS rips or anythign? I'm tempted to get the 2-Disc GBU set but if there are plans to release all three, I may just wait on that one. Edit... I found this one but I wonder if the quality is as good as the new SE GBU set. Anyone know?

Antz sucked... didn't see Shrek, and I'm curious about Ice Age. It's not just the animation that draws me to Pixar but the story and the lack of over-voice acting. I hated Antz (and the Shrek clips I've seen) when I'd be watching the character and hear Woody Allen or Eddie Murphy. At least w/Toy Story, you didn't clue into Tom Hanks and Tim Allen. A shame but that's why we've got The Incredibles!

Would a movie work? Millenium Actress was pretty good and heavy on the concept of romance.

I think I've played maybe 40 games on live and only had one bad lag issue. Probably once/5 games (rumble match) someone drops and you need to wait for the game to find a new server but overall, it is just like being on a LAN.

So you know, some people bought LVs for $350 US for the past few months. I wouldn't be too bummed about your LV purchase. If you wanted to eBay it, you'd at least make your money back on it.
