    Yeah, the arm swivel and the chest are the most nerve racking your first few times. But these are tough little suckers, for the most part. Your main concern would be paint scrapes to the diecast swivel bar, though the roy isn't painted there.

    Knowing how it looks in an anime, and knowing how to get the right color paint are probably two different things. Also, it might be a lot more expensive to find the perfect color blue. Just because these guys are good at engineering and such doesn't mean they are color masters haha.

    I have a transformation vid. It's for the virgin road but it's the same thing. I think.. it's the highest quality one on youtube for the vf-1, but I could be wrong. Not the most intricate but I hit the rough spots I think.

    Nice. I need to get a mirrored surface like that What do you use? I got my valks from beta, my god sigma, AND my VF-1D today... and my building manager didn't call me... Totally forgot to call her. So they are locked up until tomorrow. So bummed haha

    Solid film. This might be in contention for one of the best handled reboots of a film series. Though, I do worry what the hell they are going to do once the apes take control. The dynamics of both these films rest heavily on both sides being unsure of what's happening, so when one side has the upper hand it could go south. The main Hoooman didn't do much for me. I'm glad it wasn't Franco, but I felt no feelings for him one way or another. I just thought, he was the stand-in for the guy from the first film.

    I won this guy: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181466667224 Finally have all the destroids, sans the weathered versions of course. Kinda bummed he has stickers but maybe I can get them off... Guy is actually on MW and agree to go through paypal direct to save us both some money. I saw one on Yahoo Japan for like $80 bucks a few months back, so with fees and shipping it's fairly comparable.

    Hmmm. I started collecting in Jan of 2013. I sold off a lot of my old toys from the 80's that were opened to start off. That gave me about 2 grand or so. I'd have to think about it.

    This was pretty good. Nice simple story that mostly made sense. I liked it better than Harlock. The designs were great too.
