    Hah. I like the robot mode well enough. It's got the basic dimensions of a modern MP that you'd want.

    A little before I got my camera and lighting sorted completely, but still decent pictures. I love the Elint. It's always screamed Macross to me. I just love the industrial gray, and blue, and then the yellow nose.

    It more more dirty than weathered....like it'd been in the mud. hehe. Which is cool. Yeah it's tempting to start swapping parts, but hard to remember what goes with what.

    Mine had a knee joint problem, the chrome was all worn out, and I think the plane "glass" was missing. Well played with. I got a replacement leg and sold mine to fund the new one... which I then never bought until now. haha. I still have the old broken leg.

    Nice. How's the chrome? I really like my Miracle version. I find myself picking it up and tinkering with it a lot. Looks amazing on the shelf too.

    I mention it in my review, but yes all the white pieces have a slight gray weathering. The test version for SDCC is heavily damaged in line with being a test body.

    That might be the red shoulder I sold on here about 5 months ago. I shipped it out to Vietnam and the guy planned to weather it. Must be the same guy. I have no room for them. No room haha

    Good point. The cel created what we all saw on tv and made us buy all these little hunks of plastic.

    It is a little annoying that so many people PO multiples and then just turn around and sell them here at the same price haha. I can understand buying two, or evening PO'd 3 or 4 if you intend to design your display as such, but just to hoard PO's when you're not sure if you want them is pretty annoying. They should definitely limit their PO's at HLJ to 2 and only allow more if you're a faithful customer.

    Just looks like a pile of junk, kind of like bayformers where they have no real discernible attributes, but lots of pointy edges. Not as bad as that, but close. I don't see DYRL as revisionist. It's just like the 87 movie. There is only so much you can fit into a movie and you have to pair it down to make a cohesive story. And just like with Macross some of the expansions are good and building on the theme (Like Frontier) and some are terrible. Video game stories are generally pretty basic. It may be a good playing experience but it isn't something you'd sit down and read if you condensed the story into a readable form. I might give the PC game a shot, but I hardly ever play games anymore.

    Yeah but are you saying it on his twitter? I doubt he's reading this thread. I'm glad they used the YF-19 as a test valk to get all the bad stuff out of the way, at least I hope. Especially since I didn't buy one

    That's the great thing about transformers. It's always been made up.. no real scale, no real backstory. Even the originals were stolen from something else. All I want is flash 80's cars and planes and sweet robots haha. And make it look good on my shelf too.

    Yeah I don't think it's cheaper.. just lighter. Styrofoam is messy too, the little chunks flying around, plus I hate that neon snot yellow tape they put around the sides that you have to saw through. and then it's just stuck there forever unless you want to rip it off... Nothing expensive about that.
